I like the rhythmic sounds of trains as they pass. Once lived with the tracks next to the back yard. It's an obsession I can't explain but I've always had the irresistible impulse to count the cars. When they passed at night I didn't even have to look, I could count each car by the noise of its wheels on the tracks.
if a train ran behind my house id be frustrated with trains because their so noisy. not that im one of those train hating weirdos or anything, cool vid btw
@shineyK9 I think the grownups were perturbed. But I was a little kid so it was exciting. And my uncle was an engineer and drove one of the trains. So, we'd wave at him as he slowed down and he'd toot the horn (which probably was even more irritating to the grownups) as he passed by. But I thought it was wonderful, magical.

@lloydhofer I did that too. If I'm at a railroad crossing I still count the cars.
