What worries me about these noodles (which I LOVE to eat) is that they are made with the Japanese tuber called konnyaku, which is primarily grown in Japan. I need to find out how to check for radiation in my food, in other words!!! =(
Secondly, my Mom; who is a qualified nutritionist, advises against certain food combinations. Proteins and starches are both dense foods, and when you combine them in the same meal, it sits like a rock in your digestive system for a while before it passes through. Perhaps you could use 1/3 of a no/low fiber packet and make some chicken and vegetable ramen, or something with small portions of light meats if you are going to combine? I'm thinking of using Swanson chicken broth to make noodle soup.
Hi HCGBigGirlNot I just heard about both the HCG diet (which I have a 90 day program on it's way *yay*) and the Miracle Noodle craze. I obviously haven't combined the two together, but I thought I might mention a couple of things. First of all there are several kinds of Shirataki Noodles, and not all are high in fiber. Actually it appears that they intentionally add it to some of the noodle options. Try taking a look at this selection and compare the nutritional info. See next post for more tips
Sorry hit the post button by accident....anyway, lots of water and today I woke up top a 1.2 loss. I'm also gonna limit them to only a few times per round, just in case. Good job on staying on protocol while cooking all that food! Don't know if I could do that:-P
I had exactly the same results with miracle noodles. I ate them the day before yesterday, lost nothing yesterday, stayed on protocol all day, lots of water am
Our bodies aren't used to getting so much fiber while on p2. The first time I had miracle noodles I actually gained the next day. But then my body got used to them. Make sure you are having regular bowel movements when eating miracle noodles. Just use 1/2 pack with your meal. Remember fiber is heavy so the first time eating them and then weighing the next morning will not reflect accurately especially if you didn't go #2 first..sorry if I'm being gross!
I tried 1/2 package and it was ok for me...Mixed with lots of cabbage. But I decided I'd only do it 3 or 4 times per round just in case. I'm like you I need to mix it up. I got a delicious chili recipe that originally came from delmem that I made yesterday. I was really in a food rut! Sorry about the zero loss, though. You are a pillar of strength with all those delicious party foods aroung you and not cheating! I bet you release double tomorrow morning.

@Agulliblegirl Not at all, you are being helpful! MAkes a lots of sense, fiber in-fiber out. :)
I will try it again with 1/2 package. They seem to satisfy my carb cravings.
Thanks a lot!
