I have an idea mates ! Why dont you tell them how the unit breaks after only 20 hours and how you ask for $250 to fix it, then it breaks again at 35 hrs and you wont return a single email from us ? tell them about all the people that have issues with the stinkin new humminbird side imaging ! I know some personally

@WELLGURU Well, Im a tournament angler. Ive had an 1197c since the first day it came out. I also have the new 1198. I havent had any problems whatsoever. In fact Ive used it to win several tourneys. Its the most valuble tool I have in the boat. I also know many many fellow anglers who use Humminbird side scans and they have had no problems. Sounds like you were just an unlucky guy that got ahold of a misbuilt unit. Why not get someone at humminbird on the phone and get ur problem fixed?
