  • Great playing and sound, i'll give the strings a try on my acoustic....

    Thanks

    Rob

  • After viewing this video, I ordered a set of these strings in 11-52 & put them on my Guild F-40. They're rich, responsive and produce deep bass. I could probably go down to the 10-50 set that Julie uses and still get enough volume from my guitar. Thanks fror the demo.

  • wow that piano winding on there realy sounds like a great idea. I've got arthritis and weaknes in my hands too so need low action and light strings. I'm definately going to try these, thanks for posting this!

  • It's a pity they seem to have stopped making them in 13-56 gauge. I was looking forward to making up a 13-56 custom set to use on my 12 string.

  • Great fun! I used to use Country Golds with the piano winding. Got a guitar from some ex-Lowden guys in Ireland, strung with Rotosound (IBTC Ltd). No weight stated. Beginning to like it a lot. Put 12-54 Wyres on - and suddenly, not such a nice guitar at all. My Lowden S35C short scale also isn't so nice. Not fluid, too hard. Been playing 12-53/4s for years, or Wyres PB set (13-56 with lite middles). So went hunting for extra light Rotosounds and found this. Now convinced!

  • Beautifully played - Sparkling tone!
