  • Poor do ou idot help him I mean even god probly dosen't like this I would save that dog if I could

  • god bless you dogs, and reporteryour dumb man honestly i would of took those 2 dogs and take care of them you useless shit instead of record them fuck i hate you !

  • Fukin blind asian its fikin ovious hes looking for help no wonder u guys get pulled over by cops BECAUSE U CANT C FOR SHIET

  • if u dont fuckin notice u dumb chinks the dog is looking for help u heartless dumb asses

  • I love animals more than people

  • Nbrito06 you say they are godless for eating dogs. They call you godless for eating their sacred animal and pet the cow. How can you judge others when you don't even understand their culture fully? To the people of islam a dog is just another animal (which it is) Americans just adopted it and domesticated it. I can tell your religious because u judge others beliefs. So what I'm saying is, fuck off.

  • These poor dogs if not been saved by now are most definitely in a better place...with their maker. There is no suffering there.

  • I feel terrible knowing the truth will never be known until seen with your own eyes. How can u believe a country that skins dogs alive for food in the name if culture? Completely godless.

  • Wow I can't belive that guy dosent help the dogs =( poor thing came towards him to ask for help but he just went bak to his friend to care for him...I wish I was there to take them home

  • Omg. I'm a freaking mess after watching this. I'm like balling my eyes out. I seriously feel worse for the animals than the people because people probably left their animals to die while they ran for safety. And rescue teams were probably more focused on saving people than animals. Its videos like this that make me sick. The camera man did NOTHING to help. This breaks my heart and I wish there was more I could do.

Now, excuse me while I continue crying.

  • There are rescues already set up to deal with radioactivinty decantaminzation/ quarantining of these animals. Japan received a huge global outpouring of relief funds. Spend some on these animals and livestock! This is more calleous than the whaling and dolphin slaughtering (as if that's not bad enough)! These are domestic animals! If not listed above go to change.org to sign As of 13 days ago these animals have STILL NOT BEEN RESCUED! Disgusting.

  • :(

  • is there any organization searching, helping and rescuing animals there?

it's so hard to see them in these conditions.. I know people are the most important priority, but animals DO need help:(

  • @Wendyy92dg

Please read Description about rescue groups, and petition to help pets who have been left behind. There are things we can do to help more animals in Japan!

  • @Wendyy92dg i second that but only in japan idc about ppl anywhere else lol

  • @Wendyy92dg

Angels ~Animal Rescue & Protecting Team

Please check Angels' web site (English)

for latest rescue news. If you like their work, plea donate.

    Thank you.

  • @iriisje there people r hungry O_o

  • them pore dogs no food no clean water no home no family scared and alone....its only like a human being left all alone with nothing stupid people

THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE CAN SEE <3

  • This tragedy is heartbreaking.

  • How sad and what a terrible law. I have 4 dogs and would and could not leave them behind - they are my family - it would kill me. Maybe Japan could start having "foster" families for these dogs and hopefully later can reunite them with their owners.

  • Nothing wakes up a friend like putting your ass in their face!

  • 2 peoples have no eyes

  • ahhhhhhh im gonna cry!

  • insted of standing there help those dogs!!

  • @daEmosrock

i know... they sound so dumb, but later found out...

    Kenn Sakurai

    >They (TV crew) know that world is blaming on them but they told me that they had the security escort and they are not allowed to take anything away. After taking that footage, one of them has asked the escort guard that he wants to take the dogs with him, and at least take them to the vet. But the asking was denied. ↑ That's why we need to change Japan animal laws.

  • There are people that "dislike" this video? Really?

  • The more seriously wounded dog is at a clinic in the city of Mito, while the protective spaniel-type dog is receiving care at a shelter in the same town.

btw i hate this peoples who press thumbs down in this video.

  • oh please..help these dogs..

  • awwww......my heart breaks watching this...... i never even thought about peoples pets.....

  • wait wait wait! i'm confused! where are those 2 dogs? were they really saved or not?

  • @babygirl3301 i'm confused too, just saw message fm nyrvg above to me.

  • :( this makes me sad

  • Both dogs, as reported on CBS Nightly News have been taken in by a family in Japan, but it is unclear how they are doing. One is being seen by a vet since he is pretty ill, but once the more active one was cleaned up and fed he is doing much better. If anybody knows where the English version is that was seen on CBS & ABC NIghtly News, please let me know. I want to add that I found several organizations asking for money but after calling them I found out they have not even made it to Japan.

  • @KoolerKT Thank you for great news. I am very glad to hear they were taken by a family. I hope the same for the other rescued animals.

  • lord save us..

  • The pack instinct is strong with this one

  • OMFG, STOP STARING AT THEM AND HELP THEM ALREADY!! ='(

  • Awwwwwww <3<3<3

  • I WANT TO ADOPT THOSE DOGS..... PLEASE SEND ME A PLANE TICKET...

  • yeah we must learn from dog.. and who the hell did not like this video... ur heartless moron...

  • Who the FUCK didn't like this video?

  • @km9292 2 cats

  • @km9292

Calm down. It's about the dogs, not the people who like or don't like a video.

  • @tommytomted44 Oh, I see.. I'm feeling so stupid right now :$

  • Mr Kenn Sakurai thank you so very much! May the Lord Jesus bless you more and more.

  • @babygirl3301 The dogs have NOT been RESCUED! Kenn Sakurai may be a fraud soliciting funds.

The TRUTH is that the dogs have NOT been RESCUED and they still have NOT been SEEN SINCE THE ORIGINAL FIRST VIDEO. They were left there without aid and their FATE is UNKNOWN.

Go to Global Animal for more info

  • @mhstz I know this because I was in Osaka in 1995. This new policy very very quickly went into effect a day or two after the quake. I think this is a basic common sense, what is the point of rescuing animal from disaster if they are going to be killed in 3 days.

Here in California and I am sure the other states as well, we also have the similar policy of killing unclaimed pets in 72 hours to make room for new pets found everyday.

  • this dog is so inspiring and touching

the video made me tear up

i hope everyone, human or animals are going to be okay

  • @mhstz Don't worry, Japan has new policy after Kobe earthquake in 1995. All animals rescued from natural disaster like this will not be killed after 72 hours. They will be kept alive and healthy until claimed by the owners or adoption. There always some sick people try to spread lies and false rumor.

  • Do NOT donate money to Kenn Sakurai. He did not rescue these dogs and is only using this video on Facebook to collect money via PayPal. These dogs are still LOST.

The rescue reports on CNN and UK are based on the lies Kenn Sakurai told on his Facebook page and were not checked out. There is no proof the dogs are rescued. They are still missing and unaccounted for.

  • @mlaiuppa Everybody please go to facebook, seach "Kenn Sakurai", and find out the truth yourself. mlaiuppa's comment is a good example of lie and false rumor. I made $50 donation.

  • Heart Warming If a dog can remain protective, loyal and caring after such a terrible disaster surely humanity can help people effected by the tsunami too. Hope their getting help and everyone is helping the Japanese.

  • This is such a touching video. It gave me a new appreciation for animals. I have always loved animals, but I love them even more now. To see that dog protect the other weakened one is amazing to me. I wish ppl would learn from this. We are supposed to help each not whenever we can... peace and blessings to Japan.

  • We must learn from dogs

  • OMG is too sad.

  • heartbreaking

  • so sad, dogs are true heroes of loyality, good luck for japan

  • I am happy and in tears to read that both are safe.

We saw footage of a desperate black dogs running in dispair, eventually flushed away by the tsunami. I felt terrible.

Of course I feel terrible about the people, and whenever funds are raised I will donate, but I feel equally sorry for the animals that suffer.

I Am So Glad To Read This On These Two. It Made My Evening..

  • When the grey one heals up, I hope they get to live together. They seem to be friends for life.

  • There's a facebook page called Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support. They rescue animals affected by the earthquake/tsunami in Japan. Try to check out the page coz they are accepting donations. Let us help them help the animals in Japan.

  • oh! poor dogs! i hope no one got killed :'-(

  • UPDATE: CNN and the UK Telegraph have both reported that the dogs have been rescued since the footage aired, and are both receiving veterinary care; the more seriously wounded dog is at a clinic in the city of Mito, while the protective spaniel-type dog is receiving care at a shelter in the same town.

  • @letbingo even here, in Belarus, this video has been showed on our TV!

  • @letbingo how do you know this

  • @renatopai04 i saw in this website:

  • @renatopai04 Yahoo AU News (World): dog-remains-behind-rubble/

  • I'm honestly more bothered by these pictures of wet dogs than human beings dying on the shoreline.

Related - did you know that the Japanese are a very cleanly people? They've been known to wash up on the shore.

  • 近づくなじゃなくて、どう見ても助けを求めているようにしか見えないんだけど・・・

    どうか二匹とも生き延びて

  • How can we help with the animals that are hurt, stranded or alone?

  • ,,i think he's trying to ask for help fr these people

  • @yatbawaltignan I agree..the healthier dog looked at the reporters like he was pleading for help. Thisvideo made me cry and smile at the same time. I'm so so so happy they they've been rescued.

  • @justbeinghonest88 ,, ikr.. same here.. this video touches every one's heart.. it's like another hope for people in japan.. :')

  • this is how we should treat each other help each other

  • they've both been rescued since video was aired, I saw it on my Yahoo home page and read article.

  • @nyrvg You posted this same message all over Japan quake videos. This is absolutely false. Global Animal site has many inaccurate information. Global Animal went to the site after they watched this video. Those 2 dogs weren't there. If Kenn didn't rescue and left them there, 2 dogs should still be nearby since one is badly injured. Kenn and his people already save more than 150 dogs and found 100 dead.

SHAME ON YOU for spreading lies. Its always easy critizie than it is to act.

  • @Sitti2300 My ifo is the same as yours,3rd party.Hey I am hoping for the best as are you.At this point neither of us knows which sources are more reliable.

  • i want to adopt that dog he's so cute and scared. I wonder how they made it out alive? Poor things

  • awwww that is so sad, I would adopt that dog in a heart beat. He's so cute and so scared. I wonder how they made it? Poor things

  • im happy to share with you guys that the dogs are safe and loads of calls are coming in wanting to adopt them.

  • lol

  • My heart hurts....I wish I had just one piece of food and good news for Japan. Is dog looks like some sort of a australian shepherd mix : ( This is so bad...tears down my face...so sad

  • Man 1 - oh I can see the other one is moving. That’s great, he is alive. Looks like he is very weak though... I hope they can be rescued very soon. Oh look, he is getting up, that’s fantastic. I can’t believe they survived from such a horrific earth quake.

Man 2 - Damn I wish I had food with me...

Man 3 - we should have brought something...

    END

Sorry it's the other way around. I could post only limited characters. Please read the third one first and up.

  • Man 1 - there is another dog next to him but he is not moving... is he dead?

Man 2 - I think he is protecting him

Man 1 - yeah I think so too. Maybe he is telling us to back off. ‘don’t come anywhere near us’. It’s heartbreaking. It’s so hard to see something like this.

  • Hope this helps.

Man 1 - Now we are in Arahama area... oh look there is a dog there. He is gray, must have survived from the earth quake and tsumani. He is covered in dust. He is wearing a collar so must be a domestic dog - he has a silver chain around his neck. He looks scared... Look, there is another one. Is he dead?

    Man 2 - where?

Man 1 - Just right next to him

    Man 2 - ah...

  • With all the focus on people i did not even think about animals/pets.

Sad to see and think what these animals also went through...

  • Kenn Sakurai

    > Those two dogs are rescued. The one which came close to the camera is in the better condition. The other White, Gray and Black was weak. So it is in the vet clinic in Ibaraki Prefectre. The other dog is in the shelter of the same area.

But please know that those two ...are just the tip of the iceberg. There are more and we need help.

  • @vanna4animals

    Update 3/27/2011

White dog has gotten a lot better and was standing in the cage today. But the brown one. The Brittany had a rusty nail in the paw and found some gangrene found in the same leg. Too late for antibiotics and the operation has been scheduled.

  • @hello55hotdog

    Update 4/1/2011

Brittney made it through the operation- She has not lost her leg- no amputation! Now she needs to recover.

  • what did you expect the film crew to do?

  • You can donate to the Animal Miracle Network to help support their Disaster Relief Fund which provides emergency supplies and kennels to house displaced animals in Japan.

  • i am so happy someone resuced these poor animals you know they are just as scared as the people are they just cant ask for help or say they are sad. Way to go whoever helped them you will be blessed.

  • I found out they were rescued. A animal rescue page on FB found out.

  • @BlueSeaWendy did you see it??? please send me that link, this makes me so sad!

  • It seems that the dogs were saved are not the ones from this video by reading the original Japanese post. Even though we are really relief that any animal can be saved. We will continue to monitor the fate of these cute dogs from the video.

Together we can make it to happen.

  • I AM CRYING SO MUCH FOR YOU JAPAN ! FOR THE PEOPLE, FOR THE ANIMALS, FOR THIS PLANET ! PRAYING GOD HAVE MERCY !

  • I don't like the video but I am sad for the dogs who must be so scared. At least they are together and can probably find food from broken houses. I hope the rescue group can get to them. Please donate to japan animal rescue.
