  • I'm dying to see it after such great reviews.

Is there anybody out there willing to upload it?

    Please!!!!

  • Frankly, I hope it isn't uploaded. Google playwright Harvey Perr to buy it directly, or contact Ladyslipper Music.

    Money talks.

  • hi!! I`m sorry is bye any chance Audrey Hapbourne in 1:54? if yes, what mouve is it? thanx for your help. Ciao

  • Yes, she is Audrey Hepburn, and indeed, beginning at 1:35. She co-stars with Shirley MacLaine in the movie "The Children's Hour," based on the play by Lillian Helman. While the movie is heart-wrenching, it does testify to the urgency of a better world in which to come out.

  • I really appreciate the follow-up, and hope to purchase my twin prize myself, soon.

  • Thank you for sharing your connection to The War Widow. I have is yet to buy the script and shame on me!!

  • I couldn't resist it. I bought the DVD and had to have the script as well. Perr wrote a lovely note and signed it. I count that among my most prized possessions.

  • Oh my God, the War Widow!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I said the same exact thing when I located the dvd.

  • The War Widow was amazing. I remember it vividly to this day and finally located the DVD from a website related to author Harvey Perr. I also got an autographed copy of the script!

  • hey whats the name of thi song playing?????

  • Save Your Kisses" by Sandrine, from her exquisite CD "Dark Fades Into Night."

    Sophie B. Hawins

Closing is "Take Me Away/Let It Rain" by 5 Stings.

  • Very nicely put together MB......love the Sandrine music, it's kinda haunting! Can't believe it's been on YT for 7 months and I've only just come across it!! ......Chrissy

  • Coming from you, I am honored. I'm very much an amateur at this, so suffice it to say, you are muse, and "instructor," as well.

Oh, and "tsk, tsk" on it taking you 7 months to watch it.

    "Snicker."

I'd say we just exchanged Thanksgiving gifts.

  • I haven't seen The War Widow since it broadcast on PBS in 1976. It has been etched in my mind since then. I cannot find it. Anyone have any help?

  • I think the dvd is still available from Wolfe Video. However, if you google playwright Harvey Perr + The War Widow, information is there, too.

  • nice, really nice! thanks for sharing :)

  • Coming from you, this is an exceptional comment, since we're like-minded on the "Beautiful."

    I thank you very much.

  • Bless. You. I wanted to capture the elegance, that is, to me, rather FOR.

  • It's a good video and you have good taste in movies lol.

  • That is possibly the most generous comment expected.

One, that you recognize the scenes. Two, that you cared enough to say so.

    Thank you very much.

  • The War Widow, that is the first time i've seen that great movie in a compilation.
