people honestly build about 5 ribs out of 2 by fours 2 4' by 3' up 2 3' by 3' up and 2 2' by 3' up. cut a small part out of every rib on floor piece so a 2 by 4 can fit. take some molding and glue/nail it to rib sides at top and bottom. use plywood to make sides and floor. nail it seal it with epoxy and use latex extiror paint to seal from water. either put a mounting bracket for engine or make 2 to 4 simple oars
