Yeah the genesis version's alot better (I think they'd given up when they got to programming Golden Silver on this one) but this one's still alot of fun and a decent game with some of the best GBA graphics

I liked to know there was a remake of Gunstar Heroes, but when I played this GBA version it make me a litlle sad :-(... Althought the improved grafics, I liked more the gaming experience on the Genesis version. This Seven Force Boss was a real pain in the Genesis version... I loved it!! Now it seems to much easy... And the blaster force was more cool and dangerous than the "acher" one... And where is the core guard boss on this version :-(?!?! It was so cool on the Genesis Version...

@Pro21xx And since when did you come to believe the original Gunstar Heroes DIDN'T focus alot on graphics? Here's a hint -- it very much did. Surely you noticed all the neat 3D effects and neat effects with the enemies and bosses, correct?

This game struggled alot because it was a handheld game. Genesis was a much larger resolution, for one. And just because the game is pretty and you dont like it doesn't mean they focused only on graphics. I personally blame the GBA.

Okay this one was about 800 thousand x easier than the original Seven Force, but god DAMN the multisprite animation is 12390138910831092381903x better on this version.

The machines are so damn well animated. I'd love to see them do an HD version of another Gunstar Heroes game on PS3/360.

I think it's unfair to compare this installment with its predecessor. It's a very good game by it's own merit. It's no console version, but you can do much much worse on the GBA (like the port of R-Type 3).

Gunstar Super Heroes gets too much slack for not being like its older bretheren. Advance Guardian Heroes even more so...

Even though this game is extremely good for the GBA, this boss is so fail. Genesis version = MUCH better, longer, harder and cooler. I'm sorry no Gun Force... instant fail.

I was pretty angry when I saw how easy the GBA Green was when I fought him on hard. The only remotely difficult part of the GBA game was the stupid helicopter mission. Good thing they posted the original on the Wii shop channel.

I just bought this game recently for 4.99 used at Gamestop. XD I'm I've completed difficulty easy and normal. Going to start to complete hard soon. The only thing that makes me replay right now is the story and the fact that despite it's low difficutly it's still a fun game to play through. Kinda like the old 2D Sonic games. : D
