Something you may want to consider...your effective range of fire with that shotgun is about 35 yds. using 00 buck. And perhaps 100 yds. with slugs. The effective range on that Glock is perhaps 50 yds. If I have an AK-47 or an AR-15 I can stand off 150-200 yds and pick you off...no problem. Get you a battle rifle, so you can reach out and touch someone if you have to. A thirty round magazine on a much more powerful weapon will trump those very effective close-in guns that you have in your video.

Good points in the video. You repeatedly emphasize that there are all these folks that envision wanton firearms violence, but in some areas, that will likely be a reality. We rely too much on our government to provide for our energy uses and food and water distribution. When people get desperate, they will do desperate things. I don't think it will be like Mad Max, but hungry/thirsty people will use whatever means they have available to survive, add a gun and you can figure out the rest.
if you think about it for a short time -adding a AK would make you to heavy - the hand gun and a silencer is more than enough -light and quiet is the best - all in a messenger bag -all while your wearing regular -bland clothing -dont stand out - this is not a game - your very right -think smart and light
Enjoyed your video. Agree with most if not all of your points. Maybe the key message for all of us is BALANCE. Be prepared to provide food, water, shelter and protection. Not always but often the guys who live through war and/or have long careers in dangerous professions are those that prepare to cover all of those essentials and not just rely on firepower and a show of force. Strongly recommend Krebs Custom for your AK. Expensive but accurate, durable and of course reliable.
I think the vests and other equipment are more for the people that are planning to bug out. If you have to leave you home and gas is no longer there to use vehicles are not an option. You are going to want to take an asortment of equipment. That means you need a way to carry it. I agree with what you are saying but if the situation lasts for a while and I need to move on to find more water, I want to take my weapons with me comfortably. I also want my ruck or mollie.
Great vid.I too believe that plain clothes and a concealed weapon make you much less of a target and threat to other people. @14godlike88 is a military style rifle that you can buy for $400 or less something you'd want . i personally feel that an AK at that cost would have serious quality issues.
