@beetstreet4 Look at some of the pictures of tiger 007. The rims on the wheels are a clear indication. However, the forces of valor tiger, which is a mid-production tiger can be used in a normandy scheme as well.
@HKUK94 I thought you might pick up on the rims. Yes it was a painting mistake. The rubber rimmed road wheels had been phased out. As for the use of the Forces Of Valor Tiger I, I actually reworked it completely, using 3 PE kits to covert it to a late production Tiger I. The FOV Tiger details are all over the map, almost combining elements of all phases of Tiger production. At the end of all this is my thanks for taking the time to really watch the video and it's details and/or errors.Beetstreet
@beetstreet4 Oh no, this is not a diss or anything. I personally have FOV's tiger, stug, halftracks, panzer IV, kubelwagen, etc. The mid-production tiger would still be able to be used in a normandy diorama, however. But very nice work with the tiger. I see you've gotten rid of the shovel in the front of the hull and replaced the horribely long hull machine gun. The star radio and the track links in the frontal lower hull of the tank is also a nice addition. BTW, how many FOV tanks do you have?
@HKUK94 I didn't take it as a diss but rather constructive criticism because you are right. I believe at last count I have 123 Forces Of Valor tanks, only WWII. I have been collecting them for years. I also have over 50 books on different WWII tanks, some very detailed, and their respective units. I have stopped collecting Forces Of Valor because the books have shown their inaccuracies but then I make mistakes too.
@beetstreet4 Yeah, all my forces of valor tanks and vehicles are WWII. In fact, I just ordered one of FOV's winter stug III from the ardennes. I see that you featured that tank in one of your other dioramas as well.
@beetstreet4 To date, I have redone 1 jagdpanther (late production, Ardennes, 1944), 1 panther (final production w night vision, Germany 1945), 1 king tiger (Henschel, Ardennes, 1944), 1 tiger (befehlswagen, featured here), 3 stug III (mid production, Normandy 1944), 2 panzer IV (1 F1, North Africa, 1942, 1 G Normandy 1944), 1 T-34 (Berlin, 1945) and 1 SdkFz 251 (conversion to SdkFz 251/22) .
@beetstreet4 WOW, you are very talented. I don't have the time to "redo" vehicles, but for the money, they are a very good value. All my tanks are german WWII, and I am still in the process of finding a forces of valor t-34. However, I have seen that FOV seems to be getting worse and worse with their vehicle weathering. My early tanks don't look as good as their current tanks.
@HKUK94 Someone once asked why I don't make models rather than using Forces Of Valor. The answer is that models are plastic, Forces Of Valor are mainly metal and real tanks are metal not plastic (yet). So I now modify, detail and airbrush Forces Of Valor vehicles with the help of the books.
@HKUK94 The Tiger mg 34 barrel I replaced by an all metal two piece barrel produced by RB metal modelling supplies from Poland. If you ever want to convert FOV vehicles, you will need their products.
@beetstreet4 Well, I "kinda" repainted one of my FOV stugs by adding some mud splatter to the road wheels, but I rarlely convert my vehicles. I don't have the skills. Nevertheless, do you still have all the tanks that you show in your dioramas?
@HKUK94 Forces Of Valor are becoming more plastic now than metal, another reason I quit collecting them. Converting them doesn't require that much skill but rather equipment and patience - the tie downs that hold equipment (like shovels) are annoying to build!!! As for "do I still have all the tanks?" Yes, every single one of them and a closet full more. Which T-34 are you trying to find? Message me.
this is a weird coincidence,i just finished watching a documentry about Wittmanns last battle, and now you put this up! lol. Another superb diorama ,with some incredible detail! thumbs up
It turned out AMAZING thank you for letting me see pics of it in the making I will put a video up soon of what i have been working on for the past few weeks.
Amazing diorama!!!!! I have tried to make some, i started with a coastal defense bunker, but I think I aint that good. Its a shame about the music, it would have been even more awesome with it.

Hmm... Wittman's tiger 007 is actually a late production tiger 1, not a mid-production tiger 1.

@HKUK94 I have to ask, what makes you say that???
