Very good cover but you really need to get that left hand doing more than just the snare on 2 and 4. Hit your left side crash with your left hand while still on the ride cymbal with your right, don't reach over your left with your right to come up to the left side crash (especially when your left hand doesn't have anything to play on that note). It keeps your right hand ready for the next note, and since you're still playing the right hand with the left hand crash, it keeps you in time better.
its pretty good for 2 months...even thouugh! be careful with only palying electric meanwhile learning...it can harm your wrists long term , or your technque.but dont worry bout that keep playing
I I never could play correctly on an Eset, and I used one for six months touring, I play much better on an acustic, they just do have the right feel for me, badass job!!!
well.. i live in a basement, so i can't really have a real drumset.. so yes it's great because you can play without killing your neighbours... but you get what you pay for really, this is cheap, still good :) go for roland! i'm sure there are many other great drum-set-dealers out there, but roland is great :)
quite impressing for a 2-month player. U could work on ur wrist and hand coordination. I'm amazed of how steady u played the song. Not alot of dummers can keep it that steady. Way to go m8!
LOL i'm broken i love this song..... wait a minute grrr LOL

Oops, I meant to say "since you're still playing the right hand on the ride cymbal with the left hand on the crash, it keeps you in time better."

During the chorus use the open high hat on the 2,3 and 4 beats. Sounds a little better.

good i agree with hadrian3689 u should try some nirvana stuff and ur playin a bit stiff try and loosen up and work on wrist action
cwis333 3 years ago
That was really impressive for two months. Are you a Nirvana fan? Songs like Come as You Are and Heart Shaped Box are always good to start.
hadrian3689 3 years ago
I'll give Nirvana a try after Coldplay, got some more videos that I will upload soon.. Thanks for the tip =)

That is one reason that makes me leave HD-1 drum kit from possible choices, even if it's super compact, silent and cheap.
Especially when learning, I guess dynamic control on cymbal is important (the ride/bell compromise sound seems not good to me).
