Sit back on drops lol if you lean forward thats what happens lol just remember forward with you horse, he goes up or forward you move with him when he goes down sit back to steady each other on landing so it is smooth

the reason why u couldn't get it right was because u didnt do u press release. which means wen ur going over the jump u slide ur hand up the horse's neck but dnt lean on it. put ur weight in the stirrups. its not the horse's fault and it's not that he doesn't like the water it yours. no offense

When your getting off a drop down loosen your rein ALOT and hold the top of it sit back. Because if your horse decides to nose dive you will end up under neath him,

You should be happy that people are concerned for the health and wellbeing no berating them for taking it too seriously. It may seem like nothing at first but some horses don't show pain as much as others. Over time however bad habits can be formed. The horse could avoid the bit or just avoid water jumps. Luckily she had help (hopefully from a qualified trainer) and it sounds like things have been fixed.
