  • @soup718master Sure thing. You don't want to do that, do this, and then this instead. It should fix your problem.

    Was this helpful? :

    -Y/N

  • how do you do part 2:40

  • can someone please help me at 2:46 on how did he do that part with out messing up my character.im sizing on the y axis, but my character is moving as well, not like the video,so someone please get back to me soon to show how he's doing that.

  • How do you do the part at 2:07?

  • how do you set up dual clipping? I have the new blender -.-

  • thnax for the video for real Idk how a software would be better than blender for me its enough to create very cool models in 3d

  • I got the body structure down its just getting the character to look realistic like with the cloths on and everything

  • Good tutorial right up until you spend 3 minutes complaining about a neck. It looks fine, move on...

  • 7:45 to 7:50 thats what she said.

  • Mistake or not, this tutorial still helped a lot. Thanks!

  • Why did you delete the faces where the arms would go? i'm new to blender and come across this part of your vid, and you deleted where the arms would go, why not just extrude it Esc,G pull it out a little for the should , extrude it again and pull down for the arm and soo on? Sorry might be a noob question but just wanna know why

  • DONT POST A TUTORIAL IF YOU FUCKED IT UP... what's worst is that YOU REPEATEDLY SAID YOU MESSED UP... if you don't know what your doing dont post tutorials and even if you dont know what your doing, dont give your audience the impression that you dont know what your doing: FAKE IT TO MAKE

  • When i do loop cut that you do at 2:27, it forms a pyramid and a line...

  • Does this work with 2.5?

  • wrong video my bad

  • When I was working on the crotch area I extruded it to where you said to but when I tried to scale it on the X axis, it scaled both squares individually instead of bringing it together like it did for you

  • 1. Gaping Hole

    2. "sorry thats my phone vibrating" (i actually turned to see if that was my phone)

    these guys are good

  • Can u pls post an animation in which a crater is created...bt plz kp d background as blue. Actualy i m trying to make a meteor crash effect composition in adobe AE. Any help will be appreciated..thank you.

  • it is his pectorals. :)

  • On what planet is that a bad neck? lol

  • @button4boy ok, nevermind, i just worked it out, he selects all the points on the edge and then does it... didn't see that :)

  • can anyone help me? My torso doesn't go rounded when he says re-size it on the y-axis, it just gets thinner...? any reasons as to why should i be selecting certain points or pressing something?

  • FUUUCK! ive just accidentally hit erase.

  • @DjTokenMusic ctrl+z

  • Hmmmm.... Helpful tutorial, but unless I'm missing something, people will be doing all this work for nothing when you use the 'subsurf' modifier to smooth the character out. It's actually very effective at smoothing low-poly models, but with the 'mirror' modifier it's impossible to subsurf the model nicely. I'm doing about the same thing you are, but avoiding the 'mirror' modifier to make a model, and it's turning out very nicely with a subsurf: It just requires more work, though.

  • its a kid that is teaching me?

  • YES I GET IT YOU MESSED UP THE NECK!!! YOU DIDNT HAVE TO SAY IT A MILLION... BILLION TIMES!!! -.-

  • can you explain think a bit better please, like when you pressed buttons we couldnt see what you pressed or you would press a key to bring something up but we cant tell which key you pressed because you didnt say

  • you are crazy how can you know blender so MUTCH??

  • "What did I do??? I dont know what I did! Im really sorry!" XDXDXD

    Nice tutorial thx dude!

  • LOL!!! a massive vagina on a steroid man?? 5:31 a

  • @GeneralDenmark i dont see it

  • what version of blender is that? great tutorial

  • ????? mine doesn't round like yours at 2:56 how di you do it??

  • how do u select the boxes and delete it

  • how do u use the loop tool

  • whenever i do something on one side the other side follows how do u fix that

  • what do i have to press to extrude

  • @2010gamerguy go to the panel thing on the bottom, click on the square wtith the corner dots....under mesh tools thers a button called extrude, when you click on that your mouse woth have a question mark next to it...then click on the part you want to extrude....

  • @2010gamerguy Just press 'E' and a menu will drop down and then choose the first option.

  • @2010gamerguy "E"

  • Is this characters name "Steroid"?

  • eugh hate seeing flamers ¬¬ thanks for taking the time to put this up and stuff itll be awesome to be able to refer back to it when im practicing modelling again :)

  • You should put your macros in thought bubbles on the screen so people can know what your pressing when you do stuff (changing views, sizing, etc)

  • nice demo

  • why a picture of a steroid man?

  • @bouchandre He want to make something similar to ... umm .. ;)

  • @bouchandre LOL Naked steroid man...

  • @bouchandre the world may never know!

maybe they got payed by justin bieber

  • @bouchandre go and see first part!

  • guys i have a question if i want to make clothes for my char must they be part of the if i want to make a game ?

and if they have to be do i have to extrude them out of the char or can i overlay polygons

  • @gurjotwonder

I do not have experience in making models but considering the way games are built... The clothes are on model, but clothes aren't covering nude character - model is a single object. What I mean is, when You actually try to delete clothes from some existing model (imported from game) You won't find a body mesh with textures. Games were never constructed like real life.

Sorry if it's a bit vague, but I'm not good at english.

  • @mac1991seth

    ok thanks mate

    i think i understand it

  • @gurjotwonder either make another mesh for them, or make seperate models with different textures on them

  • what do u mean by the y axis 2:43 mins through the movie i cnt understand wht u said and idk how to do it please explain

  • Thank you for the tutorial. I like how you have the character in the background. I never thought of doing that. :)

  • grimthing1980: maybe you should show off your skill with blender before you start waving your mouth around & talking bullshit. Thanks for cooperation

  • Is this a girl? Or a boy? I really can't tell..

  • @xorganizationxvx I think, may be a girl cause sounds too mature to be a boy

  • @PublicLibraryx

Are you really that ignorant or are you just trolling?

  • @DanIsAces I don't know :C whats trolling ??

  • kid dont make sence, he sounds like this, push A to select, then dddbbbewfwnhjerf

    B to delete!!! WTF?!

  • Thanks for free tutorial.

  • kid you need to practice more before uploading a video

  • can you use any picture that has a figure? :)

  • i totally missed how to loop cut haha... man speedy which btw is CTR + R , or press "K" and select

  • i totally missed how to loop cut haha... man speedy

  • Bicep is on the arm, kid. You would be talking about his pecs.

  • I would recommend a highlight for the mouse so we know where is at and what exactly it's being selected, or click...

but so far a really helpful video I like it!

  • You say smoothing is bad but i find it works well with my models, but maybe thats because my models have a higher poly-count.

  • Comment removed

  • @Thien455 only my thoughts.

  • "hint hint" turn the volume up assholes i can hear him fine

  • dude, could you PLEASE transcript what you say in the videos?

  • @5.22 , looks like he got a HUGE dic.. *uhuk2* joke2.. :P

  • wtf, how do you get it to smoothly curve like that :( at around 2:17

  • how do you get to the little extrude thingy 0:26

  • Lol, why would you have an annotation to tell people to click on ads? Great way to lose your youtube partnership...

  • Awsome modeling tutorial! I can hear you clearly when i have my headphones on so I'm fine :D Is this the basic shape of the torso? If i want to define it more could I add multiwires and sculpt it?

  • nice job yomanz1993 nice !! ;)

I think that way is one of the best ways to model a character and the easiest ones!!

you should work using at lest 3 views ...

i think you lost because you couldn't see from the top

  • You really don't know how to model.

  • wtf kinda tutorial ends with "i dont know what i did wrong where did i go wrong sorry about that"?!

  • @TheHitez It's not a tutorial

  • lmfao

I dun dink yer'r talkin' gangsta nuff fo des dudes n durr crews ta hurr ya man.

I've never heard anyone speak clearer on YouTube, everyone else sounds like they lost the will to live when they were three and just failed their 97th suicide attempt.

I, for one, didn't have any problems understanding what you were saying to do and I appriciate the videos very much. :D

  • when i do something wrong can i take it back like in word or power point for example?

  • @rockapower click ctrl+z, it means undo...

  • I just wonder how you select many dots(thats what i call them;P) without usin the B button. Because when you usin the B button you get many in a square that you dont wanna use... Plz Answer :D

  • @MrFlipsterN Hold Shift then right click them

  • Just watch another tutorials and make sure that you take a look at the command list because its inpossible to understand what he says

  • Q: Please Click Ad! -- A: No. :)

  • please how do you rotate using this?

  • i love how animators always get muscle names wrong.

  • i dontt understand the part of press b and drag i dont understand that and i cant curve the way u do it plz help all i need is that

  • btw i want to mention that if google see that you asked people to click the ad, then they will delete your adsense account.

  • I followed this fine, by the way. It seems like you might be going too fast for people who haven't quite caught onto the general functioning of Blender.

  • how do u size it to the y axis oh and how do u scroll

  • @GearEMV Sizing to the y axis is done by pressing 'S' when you've selected something in edit mode and then 'Y'. The vertices will snap to the Y-axis and will only scale that way. Panning is done by holding Shift+Alt and draggin the Left mouse button on the 3D Window.(also works in buttons)

  • your work is awsome

  • right whoever is giving this tutorial is too anxious so they talk and move too fast for their own good they do it to get more views for the video they really dont care if you understand or not thats fuked up but thats how it works i guess

  • @bballkid291 That's one hell of an assumption, there kiddo. The narrator doesn't go too fast, just at the speed they're comfortable at. Do you walk slower for someone who is walking too slow for you? No, generally, you wouldn't. Stop pointing fingers, send the person who made the video a helpful note about maybe slowing down a bit, and deal with it like a mature person.

  • i know i really dont under stand him that much too and when i press shift and ctrl, and i click my middle button, i doesnt do anything

  • around 4:10 can you explain in a reply to this comment what do you mean... stupid question but when i do it i either select the front or the back and it looks terrible

  • Best part is when he models the SUPER REALISTIC ULTRA HIGH POLY COUNT Penis.. I'm sure you guys loved it too.. modeling gods.. gods of peni

  • I'm going to assume that 1993 is this kids birth year and this was posed in 2008 meaning the kid was 14 at the time and is a modeling GOD

  • this kid is going to be a great 3d modeller... omg

  • @frankytap fyi this is basic stuff. its a great tutorial but i cant see him making a high poly character..

  • @frankytap no, he still doesnt know anything...

  • Which version is this?

  • how did you move the back grounds and stuff to like see better i mean mine just stays at the same postition

  • @SyntheSlay

If you go to "View" then "Background Image" you will get box popping up.

On that box, Change the values for "X Offset" or "Y Offset" to change the positioning of the background picture :)

  • OMG the only problem with this video is the last part you say the same thing over and over again just skip it if you messed up

  • you guys need to get better recording cause its killing me to have to look really hard with my eyes to know what to do

but ty for posting these there awesome

  • fuck you, not helpful, go die

  • @RDissidia what's your problem posting shit in every part of the tutorial? got sand in your vajeen?

  • @usernameshortage nope, your just gay

  • @RDissidia Good comeback. Some people find these tutorials helpful. Im pretty sure that most of those people are straight. Stop posting crap on these tutorials

  • THANK U THANK U THANK U

  • girl....stop say sorry lol

  • im sorry it kinda looks like bandos lol

  • @ 2:52 lolz "rounded feel"

  • ur fucking genius but i loled when u said recokmenedk lol good tutorial though i wish i could do this

  • what the fuck is this loopcutting it keeps giving me this error message telling me it wasn't able to.

  • @M00Milk press a then k then you use the cross to select vertices then press x

  • ur voice got deeper in this one haha

  • The quality of the vid makes it hard to follow along, I find myself rewinding a lot! But awesome tut!

  • wen i resize the torso on side view, the torso tin front view changes shape, also wen i select it on side view it is selected in front view

how do i just select it on one view?

  • The views are watching the /same/ object, so of course they are going to change in both views!

It is impossible to select only in one view.

  • nice tut, but is this uploaded anywhere else? Youtube has such horrible compression, and i cant see wich lines your moving around when your "Rounding it out" at about 3.26

  • why cant you just dam download these dang things

  • get firefox -there are tons of addons to download streaming video clips

  • If your intelligence is so low that you have to use profanity, learn how to spell them

  • Does Blender Work for 64Bit?

  • @IKillGiants1 yes blender is working on kind of all platforms and for all platformes there is a 64bit version

  • How Do i select with B I press it once and left click and drag over the point then let go of left click but it does nothing

  • Hey, I keep trying to select with the "B" key but it doesn't work. Should I try the "Shift" key or will it not work either?

  • Nevermind, I figured out I'm supposed to drag with B, not click. XD

  • hilarious i m almost crying....ah man tutorial voices a real phenomena I m always having fun with.

  • It's so nice of you to make these nice comments about someone that is trying to help. You idiot!

  • @rosw49 you re the turd brain for following these tutorials...But mostly for coming out of your way to get back at me 1 month later and specifying all the HELP you get from these.

    F.O.A.D

  • stop apologizing

  • houw jou ad points???

  • i give up, i'll just look for another tutorial series!

sorry man but you arent clear enough, i;m shitting here for an hour to get you have and i am only at 1 min of your video.

i;m not going to do a 9 min tut. in 10 days!

    tabboon di mek,

    good luck you other people!

  • @harimau93 if you found any other tuts tell me cause this torso one is hard to follow

  • sometimes i really cant understand him and then i'll go and repeat that over and over again. i hear something like this:"select mrnfrjfnmfnjnf like these and then hit "B" ".

  • i totally agree, I was screwing half a hour to find out what he said and finally I discoverd that he said "E to extrude..." to me it sounded like"etuxturd"

  • @robbie932 thank you god

  • @harimau93 I think he says you want to hit A to deselect all the points :\ :P

  • @harimau93

LOL I was thinking the EXACT SAME thing!

I THINK he/she/they/it said "select A" but i'm not sure.

  • how are you selecting only the outer edges to resize it to the y axis??? 2:46

  • @5Random1

    Very good said.

    I agree with you.

  • Haha what a faggot doing tutorials about something you can't do

  • @Spaetten1

If he is doing a tutorial at something he can not do then what are you doing on this video? You must not know how to do it neither so please, Just think before you talk.

  • ........he can do it,he just made a mistake

  • at 2:01 is that a horizontal or vertical cut..i'm just trying to see what you did.

  • real modellers can do it with out a background image.

  • thats probably true, but you'll need a lot of experience to model without the background image... either way you will need the reference image somewhere, you can't model without reference, unless you have the image in your head perfectly... which would require a lot more of experience I guess

  • i know sir, but with an image is less of your own (that you made).

  • @Multimediahelp1

Everyone started like this and then they developed there skills to a point where they don't need a background image.

  • Tere is no such thing as real and unreal modellers there are experienced and those who are just learning.

  • This video is meant for people who knows the basics. I see there're tons of n00bs trying to model a super hero without knowing how to model a simple house -______-

  • You give the worst tutorials ever! Get it together man!

  • Where are you found that picture?

  • watch part 1 and yull know.

  • How do u choose points at 2:45 when I'm done it it's choosed from both sides

  • Your a fucking Smart ass 4real you was teh one that helped me wen i started BGe... u always do when i need help ;} KEEp doing what you do!!!
