It looked like he was comming in fast and hot! Like if you watch the 747 it looks like it was comming in slower than the 737. Maybe its just me but thats what it looks like.
@hoyahenrys I'm with ya, I was thinking the exact same thing. I was talking to my monitor: "Slow down! Throw out the anchor, get that bird stopped!" :D
amezing vid friend, but i have a question, how do you know it's a 737-832, i'm happy when i'm sure it's an -800 or -300 or what, but how can you know the 32???
Very nice video, you always put out some great content on youtube and most of time i see you replaying to the comments of you're audience, which is awesome and most of the people wouldn't do. That proves you actually care about you're subs for being a good support =P. Keep it up Cessana.
@Fsxlovely Thanks for supporting the channel. I appreciate your comments. I try to reply to a few hundred comments each week because I think it's important to show the viewers that I actually read their feedback and ideas.
haha that looks like when I land in X-Plane 9 for the iPod...hit the ground a bit hard, have a mini second landing, put the nose down super fast...the only difference is he did= not almost run off the runway...and the micro adjustments as the plane nears the runway xD
@jkjmskud Yes, there is a way to track most flights. The website Flightaware has detailed information about aircraft based on the registration number of the aircraft.
@Cessna154 Cessna, any woman with sanity should kill to date you. I congratulate you Sir for being officially awesome ... you and Jon5700 shall go down in history as the champions of FS.
Cessna, do you use a tripod for your camera? If so, here's a trick on how to make a really smooth camera movement, on the handle, put a rubber band, and you hold one end of the rubber band, so if you pull it, the camera moves really REALLY smoothly, gives a great professional feel to it.
@WhiteArcticFoxhound No, I am not using a tripod in this video. I am actually using a DSLR camera with a hoodeye attachment to view the LCD screen while recording. The challenging part about filiming at this location is that the fence is almost 6 feet high so it is incredible difficult to track the aircraft and not hit the fence with the camera lens.
i have ben watching your videos for a very long time. and i have never really bothered to find out in these types of videos you upload are you flying these planes or are you just filming them because you love planes so much.

The pilot activated thrust reversers in MIDAIR, was he supposed to do that?
CockatooDude 3 months ago in playlist More videos from Cessna154
@CockatooDude
It's not possible to engage reverse thrust in midair.
The plane has a locking mechanism to prevent that, and even if it were to happen the plane wouldn't land as it did.
I can see what you mean though, but the pilot engaged them as soon as the rear wheels touched.

@Blatpoppin5 Ok, that clears up a lot of things, thanks.

Can you do a landing at Lukla Airport in Nepal? It was rated the most extreme airport on the History Channel for several reasons.
1. Near the end of the runway, the runway starts to slope up
2. there is a large mountain on one side, so you cant perform a go-around
3. there is a large cliff on the other side.
4. there are large mountains everywhere.
5. You actaully need a special license and a guide to land at Lukla Airport.
Thanks! :)
