In this context, "the spirit" means the written Word interpreted and used spiritually, and "the letter" means the written Word interpreted carnally. Did God ride and fly on a cherub? A cherub is a angel described as an infant with wings, an angelic child.

Does God fly on little girl angels?

If it is metaphorical or figurative, then does it not give us a mental picture of him riding on one? However I hear christians give God a mental picture like a man who can physically ride a cherub and be born to a virgin, eat food and die just like everyone else.

The Bible states that to be saved you MUST be "born again" & become as a little child to inherit the Kingdom of YHWH. John 3:18 says that if you do not believe that Jesus Christ is God then you are already condemned to Hell. Jesus said that NOBODY comes 2 the Father except thru him.
