  • I dont know wat his name was, that was back in high school We dated and we would drive to ashland to visit jeans uncle.her uncle told me this that he had a good freind on th edmund fitzgerald. Why would i lie about something like that .asshole

  • My high school sweat heart has an uncle and auntie in ashland wis,One of jean uncles best freind was on this ship.dont remember the name.Does anyone know where you can get a list of the name of the crew?

  • @skipsmachz Go to the Wikipedia article called "SS Edmund Fitzgerald". Then go to the Reference section at the bottom of the article and click on the link in this reference: Nolan, Jenny (September 21, 2000). "The fateful voyage of the Edmund Fitzgerald". Detroit News. Retrieved November 7, 2010.

  • @skipsmachz Your a lier haha your funny. You wouldnt need the names if your sweeat herts uncels and ants were on it xD

  • How deep is the water where the Fitzgerald sank?

  • @GracieTriangle1 She lies in 530 feet (160 m) of water.

  • Where are the remains of the 29?

  • @sallymaggiespotty They are in the ship

  • bnodurft did not take any of these pics..

  • This series of video footage was obtained from Canada's Ontario Ministry of Culture with a Freedom of Information request.

  • how many crew members lay dead and or entombed or bodies trapped inside the Edmund Fitgerald?

  • 29 men lost their lives when the Fitz sank.

  • did they sink with it?

  • Yes.

  • @bnodurft Well, we assume all hands went down on the ship because no crewman is *known* to have been swept overboard separately from Fitzgerald's plunge. But of course, in the sea conditions at the time -- high winds and significant wave heights as much as 12 feet above the Fitzgerald's rated freeboard -- any crewman venturing onto the weather deck would probably have soon met that fate. We don't know the motivation for Capt. McSorely's order not to allow anyone on deck.

  • All hands.

  • to tell you the truth...i dont think they should have taken the bell

  • @dodgekickzass the bell was taken with unanimous approval of the families as some kind of memorial for them. a new bell with the names of all 29 crew members was reattached to the ship

  • I have said this many times and I will say it again. The Edmund Fitzgerald should have been left alone.

  • I am wondering which of the divers wearing a dry suit in this film footage is bnodurft or is he the one doing the filming? Beautiful footage - has bnodurft been diving for a lone time? I have not viewed any of his other film clips, but he certainly has an eye for underwater footage. Not many divers have this unique skill, I will be intrested in seeing his next film clip. Intriguing and mystical - I will have to visit the area sometime and perhaps meet up with bnodurft and learn his skills
