  • i was at this concert right at the fron the best night of my life

  • Was at this show. Awesome.

  • Paul is the best alive musican in the world, and he still looks so well. i am not gay, but i love him so much. and this wonderful hofner bass and this song. thanks paul for the pleasure to have the beatles, you solo, the wings, the fireman and now you with with this fantastic band alive. it is a great geat joy

  • We love you Paul! Thank you for providing the soundtrack to our lives

  • The master and one of his students ... brilliant .

  • I bet this made Dave Grohl's life... to be able to play a number with Paul McCartney. I would die.

  • Paul, love ya. But if you invite someone to sit in, have them shine.

  • If I ever get out of here......

  • grohl had a chance to play with a phenomenon who invented his job

  • Well the rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun.

And the first one said to the second one there... I hope you're having fun!!

  • i want to know dave grohl and paul mcCartney

    maybe someday...

  • I was a about 12 years old when I first heard this on my 'transister' radio! I loved it then and love it now!! Thanks Sir Paul McCartney for entertaining several generations of true rock and roll music fans around this great big globe!! You are the BEST !!!!

  • i love dave playing with paul in this video. foo fighters do a great cover of band on the run

  • he puts ringo to shame with his love for the city

  • yeaaaa cos all the beatles stayed in liverpool...

  • " yeah man...this one time I played with a Beatle in Liverpool" : ))

  • Hey Paul se ya in Halifax 11 July

  • Dave Grohl with Paul ? wow .....

  • good song

  • thats so KOO!

  • Dave Grohl? I guess it's true, it's not what you know......

  • still singing well

  • Forever in the run, looking for falling into the sun !!!!!!!!!!!

  • (at 3:oo) Paul's great. Dave is great...but Pauls singin with that slide guitar speaks to me.

  • slide guitar? i tot thats his signature hofner bass guitar

  • that bass is about 40 years old

  • McCartney's first Hofner Violin Bass Guitar was purchased in c. 1961 for about 30 pounds sterling. He bought his second one in 1963, and that's the one most people have seen.

McCartney had to take over bass duties when Stu Sutcliffe left the group in 1961, and as a lefty, wanted a symetrical instrument so that he did not "look daft."

  • I WANT ONE SO BAD!!!!

  • I have for a while

  • Paul's great. Dave is great...but Pauls singin with that slide guitar speaks to me.

  • who the hell is dave grohl? anyways I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE BEEN AT THAT CONCERT!!!! but alas, i live in america so i couldnt go obviously. But that crowd is WAY TOO CALM!!!! If I had been there i would have been SCREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE PAUL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH HE IS MY ABSOLUTE HERO AND HE ROCKS!!!!!!!! I just hate how no one my age seems to like him. I'm fifteen, but wish I lived in the sixties or seventies.

  • Dave Grohl is from The Foo Fighters.

    And I'm 15 too,

    but British :)

And would rather listen to The Beatles/Macca anyday rather than the crap today :P

  • oh yeah!!! the beatles and all of their solo music is waayyyyyyyyyy better than current crap. are the foo fighters good? they cant be that bad if macca has one of them singing with him.

  • Lol, well my mum likes them and she's a Beatles fan.

    :)

  • The foo fighters are one of the better bands around today, much better than many american rock bands like korn, blink 182 etc. but they are nothing compared to older bands like the Beatles and led Zeppelin.

  • korn yes, Blink-182, ill give you is a bit outlandish to be grouped with rock. They are snuggly fit in the pop punk division, and are not too directly connected to just rock n roll.

  • the foo fighters are absolutely spectacular.

  • naa i wouldnt foos all the way

  • kudos a year afterwards :P

  • @oOZePirateOo dave is more amazing in nirvana and same on the bottom bit and im english ;)

  • Dave of Foo, but used to be the drummer of Nirvana. Nuf said.

  • same here from Portugal, and i know many people 20's and 30's like me ho love im like you, and you are rigth...

IS A MONSTER, IS THE BEST, THE BEATLES FOR EVER AND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dave grohl, one of the most talented men in this worlds history of music, if you dont know who he is then you shouldnt be here today.

  • Dave Grohl is indeed talented and I have a lot of respect for him and his music.

That said, he hasn't contributed even 1/10th of what McCartney or at least a dozen others I can name right offhand have to Rock n Roll.

  • i think thats a bit hyperbole. nirvana had a a huge impact on music

not nearly as much as beatles but probably the biggest since the beatles

  • The biggest since The Beatles? Really? Ever heard of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin.. or even Metallica..?

  • Got to throw in Black Sabbath. Maybe im a bit biased since ive never liked Nirvana but what did they contribute? Besides yet another musician's life being lost too early.

  • seems every genre have suffered casualties. But honestly, Nirvana imo is a bit to over zealous for my taste, that striking the common arguement anyone can throw a couple power chords together. Even if Cobain was lost too early, I really want to blame him for the music today, and whom ever said it affected pop punk, wtf?

  • As much as I love Nirvana, they indirectly inspired a lot of the crappy pop punk we have now. I honestly think if Nirvana never existed, Christian rock would sound very different today. And it might actually be good.

  • Thats because Paul McCartney has at least a twenty year advantage over Dave. Give Mr Grohl enough time and he'll make loads more music. and eeryone will fucking love it :D

  • mccartney had lennon and harrison...

  • what does that mean?

  • Top guy Mr Grohl.

  • I was there and I can assure that not one single person in that audience was bored for a second. The man rocked!

  • Nice! Even at 66, Mccartney still can deliver a super show :D

  • Aww I would have been there..should have had more tickets!

    awesome

  • In Every Way,Everytime,

  • That doesn't look like a very good crowd. They look bored.

  • I dont know what crowd your looking at but i sure see a lot of arms raised for people being bored. Watch the video again. I know i sure wouldnt be bored!

  • I was there, right at the back hugging the bar at the Kop end and I can tell you not one of US were bored!!! :)

  • I also was there 3rd row in front of paul´s mike and I can confirm everybody was having the time of their lifetime

  • Thabks alot for the upload.

  • Paul e Dave: masters!

  • he cant be stoped..

  • Oh man,is this great. Paul is still the Best.

    Beatles and Wings forever!

  • I was there at the front, really enjoyed the show.
