Nice to see that Samesun is making some efforts to clean up that hostel. Stayed there twice, 3 nights in 2003 and a week in 2005. 2003, was great happening place. 2005, the place was a dump! ...hopefully, have made the upstairs day area a bit brighter. Was almost impossible to read if you wanted to get out of your room!

I hate this chain and boycott them because the Asshole manager in Kelowna about 7 years ago took my key deposit when I was 2 min late for check out because I was looking for something... what an ass.. $10 stolen from me by this thief !, plus I just hate these chain trash hostels fuck you same sun.

its about a 5 or 10 minute drive. you can take the seabus across.. its a nice way to go!
