A correction - Sam's Club (originally Sam's Wholesale Club) has another competitor along with Costco Wholesale (who bought Price Club) that being "BJ's Wholesale Club" (founded in 1984). Sam's Club, Costco, and Pace Membership Warehouse began in 1983, with Walmart buying Pace from Kmart (who bought Pace in 1987/1988) in 1993 and reopened them as Sam's Club in 1993/1994. Avoid insults and vilifying that may lead to polarising when addressing those unaware of potential economic consequences.
Walmart along with Communist China would like to thank you for shopping at thier stores and helping in declining the American society and supporting the Communist State Of China - Keep in mind when you buy at Walmart you really making sure the American economy stays in shambles while China gets stronger as a Communist State. Now thats a smart move - Remember buy Chinese and decline America ( Dumb Asses)
@6308281 Do not blame Rob Walton the chairman of Walmart's board of Directors, BLAME the shoppers and politicians who supports them. Walmart succeeds because of excellent strategies. President Obama has not kept his pledge to support US workers thus can be viewed as a liar. What happened to Change We Can Believe In"?
@lamourlupus Dude anybody could see if America wants change first thing to do is elimanate the Republican greedy ass party - and next thing is get rid of these Chinese communist loving companies like Walmart - then the US will return to normal -
@6308281 - The Republicans somehow convince people that greed is ok even if they lose their jobs. Someone in my family voted for them and their reasons did not make any sense. There are also so many who shop and defend Walmart. Did you know that Costco supports Walmart. Costco filed a friend of the court at the US Supreme Court this year to support Walmart's petition against Duke V Walmart. Those who support Walmart and alike prove their selfish and greedy nature and out to be exposed.
How many people think the "mom & pop" hardware store on main street paid $14.00 w/benefits. Get real. Wal-Mart pays the going rate for low skilled workers the same as the old main street stores did. Wal-Mart's not evil, they're a business. If you don't want to accept a job at $8.00 and hour without benefits then don't take the job. You sell your labor and control half of the transaction when you agree to employment. Why would anyone pay more for anything than they have to, including labor?
Walmart uses a dictatorship type business model, the lower employees get way less money and benefits than they should, and a small handful of the highest employees and owners get way more money then they should get, that is why Walmart is evil.
having a Walmart in your city is like having a little piece of north Korea in your back yard.
Walmart uses foreign slave labour to make its products while north america looses jobs.
