The Trackster will climb almost straight up if it has the traction, as will a COOT. They are different animals though, the COOT floats better,( unless you have a Marsh model Trackster), the Trackster is way more manuverable, will turn around in it's own length, COOT has better ground speed and will carry more people, Trackster is way better in snow. Both great machines, just depends what you need to do,
No, they are not made by Cushman anymore, there is a Co. that makes an improved version based on the old design.: Terra-Track. They have a cab and heater.

They were an all season ATV, they even float and propel themselves in the water with the tracks. I use mine all year, great hunting vechicle....
