  • Listen to the Shangri las, he cried

    The Horrors are shameless

  • Who can say fucking knock is out of the park, fuck the other people. sound nothing alike.

  • Faris took the lyrics from the Shangri Las song He Cried.. he's a big Shangri Las fan and you and clearly see!

  • nothing alike

  • nothing a like

  • plagiarism , you for real?

  • No. Not at all.

The song features an excerpt from the Jay and the Americans 1962 single "She Cried."

    Thats what that part is.

  • This was complete shit. The Horrors didn't steal shit from The Teenagers. The song does sound similar to something Joy Division put out, but nothing like The Teenagers at all.

  • jajajajaja estupid you must clean your fucking ears

  • who can say????

  • sorry mate... youre just wrong

RasputinaMan is totally right about the shangri-las the bit in who can say is actually taken directly from the shangri-las song 'she cried'.

these two songs sound nothing like each other and even if they did who cares - who can say is a million times better

  • "mm.. you decide"

oh, i did. i decided you are fucking retarded for posting this video. if you knew anything about music you would know about the horrors / the shangri-las.

  • and you are a fuckin retarded too if you lose your time answering to a fuckin retarded

  • a fuckin retarded is not a noun good sir. your argument is invalid until further improved grammar.

  • i cant speak about music with someone like you..and if we speak in italian i think that you can only say pizza e mandolino so stop it now please -_-

  • so, because i can't speak in italian, we should cease to debate the merits of your merit-less video?

how about on parle on français? c'est ma deuxième langue. ça va?

  • you made up with all this shit only because i found similarities betwee nteenagers shitty song and horrors masterpiece?

i prefer horrors of course... i saw them at benicassim but a plague is possible everywhere... Timbaland fucked crystal castles riff.. why it's impossible that horrors took influence from teenagers?

  • watch my other vid BLOC PARTY VS DELPHIC or AMY WINEHOUSE vs GIUSY FERRERI and tell me what you think about it please..

    i'm curious

  • it's not impossible that the horrors stole a line from the teenagers, just incredibly unlikely.

if you knew ANYTHING about the horrors, you would know their love of the shangri-las, who were famous for their spoken word breakdowns halfway through the song.

  • fuck, how good is it when the horrors come on..... far superior band.

  • Haha they're not at all alike.

  • I bet a shit load of other bands have narrative in their songs as well :P Calm your down guys! The Horrors are obviously the better band though <3

  • oh god

  • I don't think so.

  • I decided: no

  • Teehee.

  • oh my god... that part from Who can say is from the shangri-las "he cried" Faris said that in an interview..

  • oh if you want attention go to mommy.... not the brightest theory if i may express my opinion hahahha.

  • maybe not a plagiarism but it's so fuckin similar this part

  • very different bands.... i prefer the horrors btw

but this part is very very similar to teenagers song..

  • LOL, 'Cause that song mentioned Jared Leto.

I think they're completely different anywho.

  • what the fuck?

  • Comment removed

  • what the hell? How could someone come up with something as foolish as the Horrors, an excellent and original band, and compare it to the Teenagers? haha some people

  • very similar!

  • The Teenagers are terrible lmao.

  • i can't see where the copy is. Teenagers part is much better

  • i hope you are kidding..

  • not a copy at all

  • what's this? where is the "plagiarism"? i can't see, help

  • erm no.

  • no. just no.

  • Horrors sampled that part in 'Who Can Say' from Jay and the Americans 'She Cried' (also widely known by the Shangri-Las cover of the same song) The similarity is only from the effect done on the vocals to give it a billowed out sound.
