the actor who played Muscles in this short (Cy Schindell) was suffering from terminal cancer and would die the same year this short was made (he was just 41). Anyone who has payed attention has seen this guy in many Stooges shorts (he was in 37 total) According to Wikipedia during the filming of this particular short Schindell had to wear heavy makeup to conceal his illness, as this was to be his final performance.

@Ghaz3k She is Christine McIntyre. You can specially admire her beauty in the chapter "Bubble Trouble". She also played several chapters (younger this time) with Curly Howard. A very beautiful actress, indeed. She looks amazing under the recent digital colour editions.
