Feeding My Pet Snake

Is there no way to feed snakes other than feeding them rats. Rats are very intelligent animals. Can't you feed them beef or pork? Rats are beautiful and INTELLIGENT animals. They are almost as smart as dogs and smarter than cats. Would you feed your snake a cat? There must be a better way.

@koolworld225 they can but it depends on the snake and its temperment... if you get bitten by say a corn snake, milk snake, king snake, ect.... it doesnt really hurt... but if you get tagged by say a amazon tree boa or a carpet python that may be a bit painful.... but the main thing that scares people is the idea of getting bit... if you get bit fpr the first time it scares you more than it hurts you....

Is it me, or do some people not understand that some snakes refuse to eat meat which is already dead? Some snakes have to have food given to them alive, or they'll refuse to eat it, and most probably die of starvation. Also, the answer to why the video was made isn't because the person thinks watching animals die is ''cool'', it's because the person (like many other) wants to show off their snake.Nothing wrong with that.They're keeping their snake/pet alive.
