I just recently finished watching this movie the other day, and despite the odd song choice (as you said), the lyrics surprisingly fit really well! The effects matched the timing of the beat and the clips were very well picked! I also agree with what you said about how L steps out of his comfort zone and shows his sincere, compassionate side, which clearly is exactly what you depicted and focused on in your video. Very well done!
