You may beg to differ, but arguably govt regulation is just one kind of interference. People by defination, are interference in the marketplace. Simply by not behaving in the same way. Coperations like wall mart are interference in the free market by being so dominant and not allowing smalller bussiness to complete.
In reality you're always going to need a mix of free market capitalism and and governemt. Too much of either and you get the same thing. too much free market, you get anarchy, to much govt and you get communism or toltalitarianism. I really do not believe a lot of you Faux News watchers really know what socialism is. We had a 90% top tax bracket in the 1950's under Eisenhower, a Republican. During that time we had the strongest economic growth and the strongest middle class in our nations history. The difference in pay between the lowest paid worker and the CEO of corporation of Fortune 500 companies was about 40 to 1. Now, it is over 1000 to 1.

Insurance companies do nothing that any other business does...profit maximization. All very well you might say, but the effect this has is when these banks go down, the rest of us have to suffer. The problem was not the banks, it was the low rates imposed by the fed and here's the key, MORAL HAZARD. The banks knew they were insured by the government and they would be bailed out, so they didn't think twice about the risk. If I told you to gamble all your money in a casino and told you if you lost any money I will reimburse you. What would you do?

Are you serious? See Annenberg/Small Schools outcome in Chicago and see the DC/Chicago stats re: schools and Obama's response to raise teacher union salaries with no accountability for those over them who push crap standards and teach to test and how he refuses vouchers (read The Dumbing Down of America, see Yuri Bezmenov re: Ed). BTW, his daughter's friend that goes to Sidwell is on scholarship (great opportunity for her, he cut theirs off.
So I wouldn't have much hope, but pray for his soul

I accidentally found a law signed by Eisenhower. It is called the Communist Control Act. It states in very thoughtful detail that no man or woman shall consort to threaten our republic. They shall not be a part of an communist party or communist front organization and be able to hold high office or congressional office. For a "left-wing radical idiogogue," Obama chasn't pursued a left-wing agenda. Rather, from appointing followers of the policies that he rightly branded failures (policies that Rob Klein has, in his cluelessness, espoused continuing) to doing them himself, he has shown through his ACTIONS that he is not a liberal, but a SNAKE and a LIAR. Weeth, my point is that "Trickle Down Economics" is the theory that, if you take someone who is good at making money for himself and throw money at him, he will be magically transformed into someone who is good at making money for others. Mind you, its proponents don't word it that way, but this is what it comes down to. Of course, Rob Klein had to revise things a little, didn't he?
