I first heard this mournful tune in the late 80s movie Siesta starring Ellen Barkin and Gabriel Byrne. It was at the end of the flick and Lole and Manuel were singing this tune at some out door cafe. For some reason they were never given any credit at the end of the movie. It will always remind me of that movie and an Argentine friend of mine, she pointed it out to me.

@llanete2000 hola llanete. lo que decia es que escuche por la 1a vez esta cancion en los 80s en un filme que se llama Siesta con Ellen Barkin y Gabriel Byrne. Lole y Manuel salieron al final de la pelicula tocando esta cancion pero al final nunca les dieron credito ni estan en el soundtrack (banda sonora) del filme. siempre me recordara de una Argentina que nos acompana cuando vimos esta pelicula mi mujer y yo.

@jrfuent Wow, I didn't know that. I first heard their song "Tu mira'" which was used in the Kill Bill 2 movie decades after it was released. I heard it in the 80s on a cassette a guy sold me in Madrid. I then saw them in concert. Amazing. This song, however, is amazing. The lyrics are powerfull.

Desde que esta hermosísima y especial canción Dime apareció en la película Siesta se convirtió en mi favorita. Gracias a un santanderino que me pudo conseguir grabaciones de esta maravillosa familia me convertí irremediablemente en fanático de los Molina Montoya. Cuando descubrí que Alba Molina era su hija lo único que pensé fue: "Por supuesto". Un abrazo desde Puerto Rico.

Escuche' esta cancio'n por primera vez en Madrid en el '82; se me quedo' grabada en el la mente y el corazon. Tuve la dicha de verlos en concierto esa vez. No me canso de escucharla, asi como "Tu mira'".
