This hymn is burned into my heart and soul. It was sung at my first daughter's wedding. I am sure that I was singing loudly and off key there too, just like the guy in this video.
Personally my favorite part of this video is the person who is off key but still singing their loudest. Good Lutherans sing no matter how screechy they are! :)
I WAS THERE! SOLA FIDE! it was so very epic, i tell you. every pastor who taught a class commented on how it brought them to tears. and the guy who played the timpani's didn't let me walk by them. and it was one of the pastor's daughters who played a violin. EPIC.
Does anyone remember how many pastors were crying with joy during this? :-)
