  • Opel Insignia

  • I'd like to raise a question. I owned a BMW 3 series which I traded for the new Regal, which IMO is much nicer than my BMW was. It had hard plastic. It had faux wood trim, it had reduced head room, it had a felt lined glove box, and it had a 6 cyl making ONLY 184 HORSEPOWER; and it was a heavier too ! Why is it ok for BMW to turn out that crap, but it's not okay for Buick??? That's a double standard. And a 4 cyl making the same HP as a BMW 6 cyl is quite an accomplishment that's overlooked.

  • This makes my 98 Buick Regal look Really outdated!

  • LOVE the wood trim!

  • give an opel insignia to ghetto people, and this is the result

  • I'd rather be seen in the 2011 KIA Optima. Check it out.

  • @DrewFaron I would rather see you in that piece of shit car also because you are a superficial idiot who wants to look cool! Pull your head out of your ass!

  • @GayUOPXBoy10 I made a simple comment about another vehicle that should be worth looking at. You don't have to be a fucking asshole. Are you frustrated because you drive a buick, or your gay?

  • Americans need to buy American cars to put the money back in the Economy so you can stop complaining about recessions and Bail outs.

  • @PorscheORviper This is NOT an American car. As is stated in the video clip here, this is a German Opel, with Buick trim. This does not make it a bad car, but it will not create jobs in American car plants to buy it, and it much of the money will go to Germany.

  • @gurlsingerfan UNTIL production switches to a Canadian plant in 2011. Most of the parts for GM are made in Mexico. This will stimulate the North American Economy.

  • @gurlsingerfan

At least the profits go to GM. What is the difference in buying a BMW or Mercedes? At least GM is a American company and assembles alot of cars here.

  • what a disgrace to call a regal. why cant buick do the retro 87 turbo regals. that would be legit.

  • I'd rather have the Taurus FUCK GM

  • when is the gs going to be for seal and how much is it going to cost

  • This guys says "uhh" WAY too much!

  • there are to many buttons there and they do attract from the dashboard....wats up with new cars now days not havin locks on the glove box...i hardly ever see newer cars with a locking glove box....

  • cant wait for the turbo!!

  • this car sucks

  • @PorscheORviper well then go get the porsche or viper. you probably cant afford either of those nor can you afford this buick. may i suggests a used metro geo?

  • I like how you drove the car! NEXT TIME DON'T TITLE "Test drive impressions"! You gave your overall opinion, just for future reference.

  • Sigh...im struggling between this and TSX..I would like the turbo but it would cost around 34K, (with nav and other stuff), which is enough to get an audi or 328 or tl..(of course, all base though), so idk..

  • @1006Will i'd rather get the fully loaded buick vs. a bone stock audi, 328, or TL... of course thats just my opinion... I previously owned a BMW (i don't drive one anymore =D...)

  • @BMWDriverC101 The Regal will kick the TL's ass!

  • No 2.0L Turbos are available until Fall 2010. Only 2.4L 182hp non-turbos are now available. I don't know how this guy got his hand on a Turbo.

  • @juscurious these cars were at a media event hosted by gm in san diego.

  • when they first came out buick did a limited run of the cxl turbo as a testament to what coming when the factory's open for business in the us right now you are paying in-port tax cuz its from Germany and more options when transporting means more taxes

  • Great overview. I have a single question regarding the LED eyebrow in the headlights, Are they available in the non-turbo models?

  • @ebleyes I believe all models have the "eyebrows" as standard equipment. i have an e-mail in my gm contacts to confirm. i am not sure what your budget and or driving style is like, but there is a world of difference between the base and turbo models, especially on any hilly roads. combining the turbo and the adjustable suspension make for a very nice sedan that is comfortable on rough roads but can firm up to take advantage of the twisties.

  • @ebleyes And I have confirmed it with GM. All Regals have the "eyebrows."

  • @rwcmick Thanks

  • @ebleyes Well, things might not be that simple. I have heard again from my GM contact Jason Laird that the eyebrows are turbo only. Is that going to be my final answer? Not sure.
