i went hunting this year of 2010 im 12 and i went for my youth hunt with a 12 gauge and shot a 6 point but mine was tiny yours is big congrats

shot my first buck it was a 5 point like yours but one of the dog catchers was not long enough to count woulda been 6 14.5 in wide spread pretty big for where i hunt

@ford4x4offroad, well some people ive heard that slug hunts, likes 20 gauge better for slugs. dont ask me why, but thats what i heard. they may be more accurate, im not sure.

yes there is it had a 23 inch inside sread and 2 and a half feet tall rack it brow tines came to the top of the rack and the mass on it was insane

Nope he shot it and I have the bad video to back it up. This was a couple hours after the harvest and he was camera a little camera shy, now if he shot it he wouldn't shut up lol. If I shot it I would be the one on camera not him.

seems like Dad really loves hunting and Cody could take it or leave it. He would be WAY more excited, hell thats a great deer. Maybe since he plays alot of video games it is hard to get excited about real life adventure. I am rambling, but I know if I as an adult shot that buck I would not be like..HUH, OH yeah...blah blah.  But Kudos to DAD for taking him out!
