If you were such a great pens fan you would realize they had just as poor of a slump last year around mid december, and because of their play at the end of the season they were able to succeed. November and December standings determine nothing but perhaps a difference of one spot in ranking at the end of the year. If a team is playing good hockey, that one spot will not matter.

If you think the Pens can keep Staal, Malkin, Hossa, Orpik, and Fleury long term, well, good luck. Hossa already turned down 7+ million a year for 7 years and i doubt Shero will break 8MM. If you guys have 31 million to work for, you need to put 8MM into Hossa, 8.5MM into Malkin, 4.5MM into Orpik, 5MM into Fleury, and at least 4MM into Staal. That's over 62MM total. The cap is only going up to about 55-57MM...it's just not possible to keep all that talent together for the long hual.

Seats were from a season ticket holder, and at the season ticket holder playoff price which is $120/seat in the first 2 rounds.

ECFs were $130/seats, or $260/pair.

These are my FRIENDS seats, and not even mine. Mine are at the other end that the Flyers shoot 2x, but they're a little higher up in the 21st row.
