  • damn - hes good, thou i remember him with more hair ?

  • Thank you, sensei Urquidez. One of the best advices of my life. Thanks again.

  • This man is Dangerous

  • @enta3omry293

But was no match for Jackie Chan

  • He's one of the most rugged fighters in the history of kickboxing. There have been fighters that hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and he kept coming. He would then turn it on them.

  • great man!! respect 2 Benny!!

  • Dude is badass, but in reality, with the hair and overall look..doesn't he look like the creepy guy near your local school?

  • @Innominemephisto Agreed. He has a weird and unnatural look suited to movie villains. It's kind of creepy. It might have been his makeup in the Jackie Chan movie, or maybe he just naturally looks creepy.

  • Great vid! I sometimes meet an old boy originally from the e end of London in a local cafe. He's a Woda Ryu Karate Sensei, a real master and I mean a real master. 1 day he tells me that he went to visit & train with Benny in the US & that Benny gave him his own personal work out sheet of combinations he uses. The next time I see the Sensei he has that sheet & presents it to me as a gift! It's now in a frame up on my wall. Benny the Jet and Sensei John White. Two legends in martial arts.

  • What a blessing his mind is for us! I would love the chance to train with him!

  • The 2 idiots probably have no idea who this legend is.

  • this guy is a legend in my mind.. Benny if i can be your student that would be the best thing that could ever happen to me..i already have a master which teaches not because of money but because of interest and wanting his students to succeed.. you are an inspiration to me..and i will make use of this vid and take all your advice

  • how can a video this inspirational.. have 2 dislikes -_- ...

  • @ghossler Remember, there were people who don't like Bruce Lee either.

  • @JeraldMcClane yea and those pp are retarded :P no but seriously... even if u dont like someone or something.. if a certain content.. like a video or a person.. gives good and logical information.. that is usefull... and u give it a thumbs down.. ur just trollin :P

  • @JeraldMcClane WHAT!??!! Lol

  • los años pasan, fue uno de los mejores que luchó con jackie chan

  • Respect

  • My shit...he looks so old -_-

  • @CanadianRock2 we are only humans....

  • smart man

  • damn man his hair has gotten thin. :( he should start doing more fight scenes with jackie again.

  • if i was just hearing this video, id swear i was listening to al bundy

  • RULE #6 NEVER EVER BOTTOM BURP IN THE DOJO AND BLAME IT ON ANOTHER!

  • stop screwing around you all screw around to much

  • Dude never lost a fight in 27 years. 63-0 in title defenses. Gracie kooks wanted to take him on but bitched out of their own challenge when they found out Benny was competent in grappling.

  • he is awesome and he appeared in some jackie chan movies which makes him even more awesome :D

  • And this is why he's amazing.

  • Thanks Benny, that is awesome.

  • his hands are fuckin buff! NO JOKE! LOL

  • Take out the grappling out of the MMA guys and watch them end in seconds with Benny. I am a karate or a kickboxing fan but Benny, you've gotta admit he's awesome!!! The best....

  • @cwmak70 sorry.. Not a karate or a kickboxing fan... but Benny is the man!!

  • Benny has a 2nd job - portraying the CryptKeeper in "Tales from the Crypt".

  • Benny "The Jet" is the living legend of kickboxing. He is the definition of the word "tough".

  • his fight vs jackie chan was the best coreographed fight scene of all time...

  • @acuradan623 the most awesome thing is it wasn't all coreographed

  • @acuradan623 Which movie please?

  • @acuradan623 Think that may have been the scene in Dragons Forever. Correct me if im wrong.

  • @acuradan623 great fight but Jackie Chan versus Ken Lo in Drunken Master II gets my vote

  • some real good intelligent advice there, not just repeating what everyone else says

  • Excellent, thanks for posting

  • Who's this motherfucker saying things like about the grandmaster Bruce Lee? When you have the same power and speed, you will speak something, ok?! Benny is very good, really! He's a real fighter too, but Bruce have 10 times more speed than him, e I think Benny thinks so, too.

  • @feihung34 bruce was more actor than a figther

  • Who's this motherfucker saying things like about the grandmaster Bruce Lee? When you have the same power and speed, you will speak something, ok?!

  • Nice to see a REAL fighter and not the Bruce Lee B movie crap!

  • Thank you sensei Benny, you are the best! Your advice has a hint of spiritual spice on em :.})

  • Thx man so .....let`s go

  • Bruce Lee has nothing on Benny "The Jet" Urquidez!!

  • LMAO when bruce lee was alive he was the man to beat. Benny the JET not so much. (well nowadays)

  • Benny is the real deal! Toughest mofo around...i bet even at his age now he can kick some young martial artist ass!

  • THANKS BENNY very good advice

  • ユキーデ……年とったなwwwはげたなwww

  • @Jerrywilliams100

    Bennyいつも勝つのがうらやましいかい

  • Your a BEAST! your fight with Jackie in Wheels on Meals was the best fight scene ive ever seen, and ive seen ALOT of kung fu movies. He was also in Dragons Forever and he beat jackies ass. lol. Your the shit!

  • a true pioneer , look up his history . great great fighter and absolutely still has much to offer any martial artist today, wether its in the ring or on the street. and still the most devastating spinning back kick i ever saw. much, much respect to the Jet.

  • worlds most best fighter!

  • martial artists always have had the same hair style since they were young.

  • cheers benny your a legend. Might get back into training.

  • thanks for the advices!!!! :D

  • this guy is my hero

  • Saw Benny's fights in a old school video I purchased. My instructor was right. Benny is one bad dude.

  • Good stuff.

  • Man I'd love to meet him in person

  • Man, Benny was sooo good.

  • More people should think like Benny as far as kicking in a fight. I hate how people now a days Bitch about kicks been used in street fights. When it's clearly a "Street Fight"(anything goes) not a Boxing Match.

  • I would be honord for him to beat me up :)

  • @VikingVern7 or get beat up by him. lol

  • Hes a natural teacher. Super talented.

  • he's wearing dentures......

  • @malmsteen2002 yeah, because he's like 50 years old dude... lol

  • This is a bad bad dude!!!!

  • @minicopilot very true

  • Very inspiring! Thank you Benny!

  • Shave your head Benjamin.

  • @Sablicious for some reason I just couldn't stop laughing after reading your comment. Thank you for making my day

  • @bpeez3r He looks like a mad scientist - lol! xD

How's one supposed to take him seriously looking like that?? =/

  • @Sablicious Have not you seen him fight?!

  • @TheJelloSheriff I have seen him fight.

But if one hadn't have seen him in action, do you think they would take him seriously here?

  • Thank you Benny.

  • My spic got a 6 head

  • I'll always remember Benny refereeing one of my fights in the early 80's, I think his confidence and determination rubbed off on me that night for the better. What an inspiring and classy champion - a big man in a small frame.

  • Not all great martial artists are great teachers. Clearly, the Jet is a great martial artist who is a great teacher. Thank you for posting this.

  • Benny your the greatest, thanx for showing us the real martial arts.

  • What cool guy.

  • Gene LeBell speaks very highly of the man, that's how I became a fan, and I'm very glad I did.

    A true champ.

  • Gold.

  • benny just owns.plain and simple.ive been a fan since i was a child. i have a lot of respect for him as a fighter and especially as a human being.

the man is a true legend

  • Benny is responsible for most Amerikan kids getting their asses kicked because his style was based on limitation and rules. This "style" of "fighting" spawned from hollywood BS.

Kids were better off learning wrestling than this made for movie sh!t...

  • @FoxifiedNutjob You do realize he is an undefeated champion? With over 200 fights won? The MMA guys of now are good, but Benny in his prime could and would run circles around those fools with his eyes closed.

  • @Sumguyoverthere

    Benny its not ground fighter..

  • @hammerofthethor has nothing to do with ground

  • @Sumguyoverthere HE'S NOT UNDEFETED.Aprantly there are some controversy around the hole undefeted

  • @leiefilm true, but still he has a lot of wins under his bed and a lot of experience.

  • @Sumguyoverthere That i can agree on.But I think it's just boring to listen to him trying to be a philosfy like bruce lee.

Peronally i think even bruce lee talked a lot of shit.He was a hell of fighter, but all that be like water etc etc sound like he smoked to much ganja.even though i understand that particular frase

  • @leiefilm bruce lee recited a lot of western philosophy and chinese martial arts philosophy that has been around for years. that was his major in college.

  • @shaolinlueb maybe I never ventured that much into the subject.the only quote i undrestand(i think )is be like water.Which i inturpen don't stand still in a fight be mobile.bruce mostly bounced artound on the sole of he's feet in the movies.which makes him a hadr man to hit and predict.but all the other stuff..is way above my head. But I didn

t mean to imply that he invented the stuff.Only that he sounds just as stupid as benny

  • @leiefilm never read the classic chinese martial art poems then!!! i get lost in all the mumbo jumbo with them too.

  • @shaolinlueb God thing i*m not the only one.they are both great fighters. thou i do belive bruce in he's prime would have kicked bennys ass,six ways from sunday.but all the poems and philosephy i can do i without

  • @Sumguyoverthere dude, mma has evolved so much. it's like comparing football in 1960s to football now. there is no comparison in skill. we can still respect their achievements, but let's not be retarded.

  • @malhombre Comparing someone who was in a league of fighting with far less rules and much more brutality to someone of a more regulated "safer" competition isn't retarded. Yes the data is skewed but you can't say there is no comparison in skill.

  • @malhombre The skill dont change. Its not like a person lives forever and can endlessly improve. People change and ALL of them start from 0. The sport itself changes - true, but that has nothing to do with peoples skills.

Going with your analogy people from like a 1000 years ago would be completely worthless. A fart against the wind from a MMA fighter would level entire armies, right? Bullshit. People back in the day had more skill, they knew what the word "honor" means, didnt fight for cash.

  • @FoxifiedNutjob aha your jealous, what a douche

  • @azrial4421

I'd take this chump any day but thats only because of his limitation and his age...

  • @FoxifiedNutjob

You couldn't steal a lollipop from a 2 year old.

  • @FoxifiedNutjob "The Jet’s" record at 200 plus wins and Zero (0) losses, World Title Defense Record at 63 wins and zero (0) losses, with "57 KO's". Benny is the only fighter to have retained Six World Championships in five weight divisions for 24 consecutive years. Coming out of retirement in 1993 at the age of 42, defeating Yoshihisa Tagami the 25-year-old Japanese World Champion to win the World Light Middle Weight Title. He was called "The Jet" because of his unbelievable speed and reflexes.

  • @FoxifiedNutjob I was lucky enough to meet and training with Benny, for his age? quickest person i've seen up close, he'd tear anyone up, no doubt in my mind.

  • @FoxifiedNutjob - You obviously have ZERO understanding of fighting, and probably ZERO training as well, anyone, any fighter wouldn't even make such a claim, I am telling you this because I felt compelled, it's free advise for YOU! some people NEED to be told, and you? you have ZERO clue. Do us all a favour, go learn to fight, earn your keep, earn respect, then come back and have a say. Otherwise keep your ignorant, no experienced opinions in your own mind, where they belong.

  • Now throw in some BJJ and this guy becomes a bitch...

  • One of the very greatest martial artists to ever live. The best ever in the ring and one of the very best out of the ring. MMA has nothing on him and his prowess, he is the real deal. He has had training in nine styles: judo, kajukenbo, shotokan, taekwondo, lima lama, white crane kung fu, jujutsu, aikido, and karate. He is the founder of Ukidokan Karate as well. A true powerhouse of a giant indeed.

  • this guy is a genius. he is a true master. dont let modern mma fool you. if this man sought to conquer the art of MMA he would also be a master of that as well.

  • Legend :-)

  • absolute legend

  • I trained with him

Ive been to that school also

    Its my masters masters school

  • awesome.

  • where's his school in America?

  • ok ok i feel this! my pops told me all of this! thanks!

  • great adavice i practice the last one all the time just never really thought of it as training i just did it.

  • respect to this legend. Thanks for advice benny

  • I wish I met Benny 30 yrs ago! i would of marry him =) I love everything about this guy!!

  • One of Benny's top quality as a fighter and as a person is the confidence he never thought he could loose and he always carried respect for the other person. He is that rare person that not only completely believes in himself but believes in others, i know this first hand, I trained with him from 1975 to 1982. Marc "theroman" costello

  • Man i was gonna meet this guy the other month hopefully ill still get the cgance legend.

  • gotta respect the jet no mater what rules you fight under!

  • Benny had these qualities -- he was a natural acrobat. Look at his cartwheel to back-handspring after his KO of Howard Jackson, for example. The self-confidence he mentions ties in well with what he said before about having the right emotions, so you don't flood your body with fear-chemicals or self-doubt, which will only undermine your progress even if you practice.

  • if you're a fighter of any sort you listen to this man when he speaks.

    All class.

  • Great advice from a legend. Thanx Benny!

  • great teacher

  • Whao thanks! #5 changed me.

  • Benny just getting down to the straight science of it. I'd love to train with the guy.
