What happened to this Bruce?. When he thought America was good. That believing in yourself and living your life would bring you what joy nomad er what that was. It was your choice. Now we have to count on the government?
@TheJimcathy Yes, indeed! It's so sad! I have followed this man and his music since I was a teenager. Seeing him turn into a mopey old man worshipping Obama has been one of the hardest experiences of my life.
Quite simply the best live act in the world bar none. This brings back memories on his concert in Newcastle in 1985 when this was a highlight of an unforgettable 3 hour show.He doesn't cut it back either as , during his last show in Sydney in 2003 , he played for 3 and a half hours with the same intentisty.
Bruce Springsteen is the BEST ENTERTAINER of our time,, and he deserves a LifeTime Achievement Grammy award,,even though he still entertaining..lets recognize this enormous talent and thank God for giving him to our generation !!!! Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce
@TheBeachboys4ever They almost surely hate his politics. Or they did what I just did - meant to vote thumbs up on your comment and I voted down.
Because it can't be the music. I saw ten of these shows. The shortest was 3 hours, 20 minutes. You left exhausted, and pretty darned sure you had just seen the greatest rock n' roll that had ever been or was ever likely to be.
This album came along 12 years after his first, and over 25 years ago.
@scottishbastard1 bruce duznt even solo in this. the guy hoo was in the band b4 nils was steve van zant and he plays the solo on this. i think bruce felt nils was 2 good 2 solo on this song so he left out the solo lol
@scottishbastard1 plus steve wasnt as great a guitarist as bruce so in the older songs bruce played most of the leads. and in the rly early stuff bruce was the only guitarist so he had 2 play all the leads
omg how sexy he is here and he still a HOTTIE baby !!! I'm driving all the way to Giants stadium from Buffalo to see the ESB 3rd time this tour,,can't wait..happy birthday Patti !!!
Excellent he was brilliant back then and he is still brilliant now. No other artist or group can do what he and the band do night after night. Three hours straight and no interval and his show is non stop with all the energy of a twenty year old. The consumate showman.
hey im a bruce nut and am forced to sell alot of my bruce stuff this and other uncut proshot or otherwise on cd/dvd 1970s-2008 contact me if interested
That's Patti Scialfa!..... HIS WIFE. Well, not then but around '89 they had a kid together and later got married in the early 90's. Around the time of this video I believe he was married to his first wife Julianne Philips and Scialfa was just the backup singer in the band.

Saw Bruce and the E STREET band in concert at Slane castle Ireland June 1985.
Beautiful hot summers day.Played for almost 4 hours in front of 100,000 people.
Absolute best concert I was ever at.The place just rocked.Never to be forgotten.
The big man Clarence was in his prime.
