  • This won't create gravity. As it spins you can jump and take a step your leg is lifting you.You will float float but while you float the wall on the side will hit you and you'll stick next to it.Get it? One Step will let you float straight up but the ships rotates, the wall will head towards you.YOU HAVE TO PUT THE FLOOR ON the OPPOSITE DIRECTION WHERE THE SHIP SPINS ON THE WALL..Imagine it.or do an experiment.

  • @123tonysony : interesting point, indeed! Actually if you jump in this non-inertiel domain, you don't see the wall approaching, you move with it at the same linear velocity V (wrt to outside), which creates inside a radial acceleration (V^2/R, from your head to your feet = artificial gravity). The only effect you may feel is a Coriolis acceleration that also applies here and now on the Eath's ground. It's usually too light to be felt but it can be a little stronger in this spinning vessel.
