A Morkie is suppose to be 1/2 Maltese, and 1/2 Yorkie. The puppy reflects the size of the parents. There are No Maltese or Yorkies that weigh 25 lbs. The puppy in the video could not be over 6 lbs grown. Think about the concept of this.

I don't know how old your puppy is. It is best to raise them in a playpen with newspaper, or a litter box, with a bed, food and water. The puppy can eat, sleep and go potty. A Graco playpen is a wonderful thing. It is almost like a baby sitter.

My lil morkie scout looked just like this. He was 61/2 months old, and only weighed well not even 5lbs. He would've been a teeny weeny one. He was the apricot color just like this one with the white on his chest and was beautiful. I lost my lil scout right during halloween due to someone poisoning. I lost my yorkie Bella, morkie scout, and dachshund chewie. Bella was rushed to the vet immediantely and lived 4 days. The poison went to her brain, so i had to have her put to sleep. Miss my babies;(

Sorry Honey, Because the Morkies are big coesn't necessarily mean it isn't a Morkie puppy. It may be the person was a BYB (back yard breeder) someone who just haad the two dogs and bred them, or some one didn't know how to judge the size of the dogs that they were breeding. I am a Breeder of Teacup and toy breed puppies. I know my dogs lines.

@TheEddiebx or you can try the taping method they use for dobbies, pitties, etc when they get their ears cropped. Take the puppy to a vet that crops ears and have them do the taping job because it requires a certain technique. If it gets done by untrained hands, it can actually damage the cartilages.

You also gotta consider whether the puppy has the yorkie or the maltese trait for ears. My morkie came out with Yorkie ears. Some take after the maltese and you can't force the ears to stand.

Morkies don't shed.. You take them to the groomer when the hair gets too long to take care of. You comb a morkie 3 times a week when the hair is long like a Yorkie.

I have done so much research on the breed, I could probubly tell you anything you wanted to know about the Standered and Tea Cup/Toy breeds. Cant wait til we get one this summer!
