  • MY only Columbia cylinder phono is this machine but with a blue horn and with the gooseneck. The song was written by a bass, Ludwig Fischer, who created Osmin in Mozart's "Seraglio."

"In tiefen Keller" is the orginal.

  • i wish i had this cylinder, such a fantasic song and columbia phonographs can give sound edison cant usually produce

  • @famouswolfy Thanks so much for the nice comments. It's very refreshing to see comments like yours.

  • I'm impressed by the audio quality of this wax record, sounds so lifelike for a acoustic recorded record, fantastic record!

  • @mlebagley Thanks so much for your gracious comments!

Sounds very good for it's vintage!!!

  • @oldbear52 Thanks!!

  • One of the most beautiful cylinders i have heard! His voice is amazing

plus your BKT is great!! how much would one like yours cost?

I collect cylinder and disk phonographs but i dont have any working columbia cylinder phonographs I also like the BC and Sears Oxford

    cheers!

  • @edisonphonographfan Thanks for the nice comments. I would value this machine at around eight hundred dollars today. If you can find a complete original one for less then buy it! The gooseneck part is frequently missing on these when you find them.

  • very cool!

  • @chompo7 Thanks chompo! Always good to hear from you.
