@BMD101 - Indeed! What little I have heard of Carmine Coppola's jazzier pieces shows the typical Italian flair for splendid, singing melody, just like the Italian composers of orchestral music. The Italian composers of jazz, such as Piero Umiliani, really brought that melodic flair. Someone needs to put out an album of Coppola's music!!

Do you like this song? Did you ever see the first "Godfather" movie? Listen closely during the wedding scene in the beginning (when Michael dances with Kay). You will hear this song there also, though it is played a little more slowly and with a much smaller orchestra.
