I have been in the craft for 15 years. There is magick all around us and yes she is totally correct and Aleister Crowley was correct. I do not think everyone on here has been in the craft and studied enough to make comments. There is many definitions of Magick. Magick is manifested as you put energy into something which causes change to happen. Your negative thoughts and words can cause negative effects towards someone, that is magick. You do not have to work with elements to do magick.

i know magic is real. Magic is really bad and only takes place through evil spirits. The spirits do not offer there services for free. The fee is your soul. There is only one Lord and you must ask anything yo uwant from him after/during fulfilling his commandments.

I suggest you study more and learn the different views. There is all types of magick but the main thing they all have in common is energy. If you make a poppet with healing herbs and you think the person is well that is magick. If you light a candle and say a prayer that is magick. When you change something by your actions that is magick. If you believe in something enough, you can manifest it. Your words and thoughts attract those energies. You are manifesting change to occur at will.

The reason smart people define magic as being any materialization of something through Will, is because to say magic has to be mystical is merely a testament to your own ignorance and immaturity. If a definition is to be of value it needs to be close to that which most people commonly accept. Crowley's definition might be better applied to a different word. For something to be magic i think something must defy science or common sense. When the impossible happens, that's magic. When that which is believed to be impossible happens, we have the perception of witnessing magic.

i know magic is real. Magic is really bad and only takes place through evil spirits. The spirits do not offer there services for free. The fee is your soul. There is only one Lord and you must ask anything yo uwant from him after/during fulfilling his commandments.

I suggest you study more and learn the different views. There is all types of magick but the main thing they all have in common is energy. If you make a poppet with healing herbs and you think the person is well that is magick. If you light a candle and say a prayer that is magick. When you change something by your actions that is magick. If you believe in something enough, you can manifest it. Your words and thoughts attract those energies. You are manifesting change to occur at will.

To use your example: Because unless you are motivated to do so (by having the sensation of a full blatter), you probably won't have the intention to go to the bathroom. The reason smart people define magic as being any materialization of something through Will, is because to say magic has to be mystical is merely a testament to your own ignorance and immaturity. If a definition is to be of value it needs to be close to that which most people commonly accept. Crowley's definition might be better applied to a different word. For something to be magic i think something must defy science or common sense. When the impossible happens, that's magic. When that which is believed to be impossible happens, we have the perception of witnessing magic.

It simply states that intention, ritual, carrier, agency and effect are the common elements of all magical practices.
If you think of any example of a person trying to cast a magic spell (fictional or non-fictional) you will be able to break down the "spell" into these five parts.
