i got an 01 chevy suburban 2500 4wd 496 special order cubic inch engine police radar.. defff not as capable with independent in the front but you know keeping the legend alive! nice vid
@Erhorn300 it was originally a 6.2 diesel from the factory, i got it out of a police impound yard dirt cheap and the previous owner put in a 6.6 400ci engine in it. im still using that engine to this day
@RougeDante 6inch skyjacker. had to trim the front fenders a bit the backs were rotted off so didnt have do much back there. the cam blazer i later added a 2inch body lift so i didnt have to cut up the fenders
i had a 1979 k5 blazer but the body was so bad i just turned into a truck and i have 31-10-50 grabbers on it and a 305 motor those r some badass blazers
i got a 79 k5 with dana 44 in front 14 bolt in the rear 44 gumbo mudders and a built 355 detoriot locker in rear and a mini spool in the front and 8 inch procomp lift
@dixiemudnut yep. good ol crappy ten bolt axles with 38 12.50s. the camo blazer at the end i did put 1tons under. they held up pretty well. just had to replace ball joints, tie rods, and bearings every year or so. i tried to be easy on the truck knowing that they were only 10 bolts and did mostly mud. i did break one front shaft on the suburban flooring it in 4low on gravel. other then that no major breakage
@fattpieceofcrap WOW...not bad, so i should probly have no fear spinnin at least 35s and 36s in the mud with a 350. Thanks for the reply i plan on building a K5 soon...with a welded 14 bolt in the rear cuz ther real strong and cheap.
@Magnifico12312 kinda seems that way. but in my defense i usually only spend a couple hundred dollars on these trucks and they have major rot or other issues when i get them. my current truck is a 86 i got from down south and almost everything in it is new or rebuilt cause im sick of replacing trucks every other year
dude you crush a k5 body thats pretty gay.... i thought you were tarded there for a bit until you drove thru that swimming pool and then you totally redeemed you self .... well pretty much.
@ELDIESEL503 the last straw besides having no floor, the tailgate being bolted shut to keep the bed sides from folding over and the numerous other problems is emissions. it kept failing and failing and basically it said lose the truck or lose your license so she had to go. i kept most everything off it though, the axles 8 years later im still using under a s10
@fattpieceofcrap You could loose your license from the truck failing? why is that? I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything but thats not really fair. But I liked the video.
@MetalMulishaDGAFSRH just our government at work i guess. it was so long ago i think i junked that thing back in like 03-04 i tried to get it to pass but wouldnt come close. and they basically sent a letter saying if it fails to pass your license could be suspended. Illinois has recently changed their emissions, now anything older then i think a 95 doesnt need emissions. so i dont have to worry about it anymore
there was nothing left. doesnt look to bad in the pictures. but there wasnt any floor. was sitting on a steel plate, the body was all tweeked, the doors hardly closed, it was a mess. i pretty much took everything off of it that wasnt welded down and put it all on the suburban, and from the suburban on to the camo truck
@zztops08 the truck basically came in a box. all the wiring and drivetrain was in the back of the truck when i got it. so yeah someone already stole or junked the diesel. i ended up putting a 400ci small block in there that was in that suburban when i bought it
@j5ohny58 i used crappy old 89 cents a can home depot spray paint. just gloss black. came out pretty good when it was finished but wasnt the best sticking paint.
@Mississippi1313 yeah it ended up getting scrapped. for 2 reason. just like the blazer it was actually pretty rotted. the rear was so banged up the doors would barely close. also it was just to big. all the trails i go to are more jeep trails and that thing was just a tank. i pretty much sold everything off of it or used it in the build of the camo blazer
@Mississippi1313 nope it basically had the same fate. i was able to find a millitary k30 for dirt cheep and build that up. i really dont wheel any fullsize trucks anymore. i bought a s10 blazer and put the axles from the burb under it
@Mississippi1313 yeah its just a striped down 1ton chevy pick up truck. this thing better last me forever i really dont feel like building another one
@GPVlog seems to be the common issue with these trucks. i been through a few k5s and all were junked due to just literally falling apart. my current truck is a 86 k30 i went down south to pick up cause i got tired of having to build a truck every 2 years
A major problem I had was the tailgate was falling apart. I drove it a whole year with no rear window or tailgate. But ill be damned it the truck never started even on the coldest of days. I loved it.
@drewman187 all my tow vehicles have been fords, i have no problems with them. i had that first blazer for 4 years and piled up tons of extra chevy parts so i kinda stayed with chevy
@fattpieceofcrap thats cool. I used to have a bronco thats why i stated that. cool pics though. I hear chevys can be built up for cheap. Any recomendations on what years and model to go for?
@drewman187 ive always seemed to end up with between 82-86 body style. the blazers seem to be the most common and parts can be found anywhere for them. also you can pick them up dirt cheap too.
dag on buddy. you wanna help me out with finding a good suburban, like what to look fer an all that stuff. I cant seem to find much on the specs fer them, but I know theyre kinda like a K5. I like both, but Im having a hard time deciding.. wanna gimme some pointers fer lookin at one and all. Im trying to get something else to learn more on and go fer a big chevy 4X4 baby!
@LilReddneck i really dont know of any bad models out there. all these trucks are so easy to work on. obviously one of the biggest problems is rust. thats why i had to get rid of the black blazer and the suburban. another issue is these trucks are prone to breaking the frame by the steering box but really not that big of deal cause they sell patch kits.
i love them. very simple and reliable and easy to work on. i got a k30 now which is basically the same thing. got it from the south so i dont have to deal with the rust issues anymore
thats good to hear. k5s rule, i own 3 with titles, two 78s and a 84 and owned a 82 and 77 parts blazers without titles. I wish gm put them back into production with the 73-80 body style and make them exactly the same as factory. i like your camo, its badass.
thanks. thats half the reason i bought that truck. i was just talking to someone the other day about that. they brought back the mustang and camaro. would be pretty cool to have a new k5 with a removeable top
good, but why not the tailgate, I have sold an extra electric one for $100, not if it was damaged badly, i would have at least striped it. ya i scraped a 82 out, with some rust, but it had no title, i sold the frame and savaged everything, these want be cheap in 10 years to buy.
i kept everything out of the inside, glass and hardware. that tailgate was jacked up. the body split which caused the tailgate to split. off the camo blazer i kept it and ended up trading it for a set of lift springs for my current k30. i packrat all this stuff. its been years since ive had to go to the junkyard for anything k5 related.
i cry when any k5 is scraped out, put yours seems like it was its time, but u better have keep or sold ever thing on it. dont waste anything, in 30 years k5 are going to be a rare and not cheap savar wow supplies last.
ha yeah. i pretty much kept everything except the rear side glass and the tailgate. when i scrapped the camo blazer last year i took EVERYTHING body mounts, screws, interior parts you name it.
First truck 99 burb with a 350. God i love that thing, goes through wisconsin snow like nothing, and still being young i dont have many expenses, my paychecks just pay for gas to go to work and school, i dread the day it has to go to the crusher, may that be a long ways off still
basically the same thing that happened to the blazer. the rear floor was really rotted on it. and after a few years of salt and bouncing around offroad the body was so tweaked the rear doors wouldnt close. also just the size of the thing kinda sucked for the trails i did. so i found the camo k5 gutted the suburban, put everything into the k5 and sold/scrapped the rest.
I had an 82 K20 Suburban stock except for bigger tires and a KN, that thing took me where ever I wanted. It got real ugly after the paint faded away and the rust set in. Pulled my boat around the last couple years of it's life.
after the first black truck was scrapped i just had them plated in indiana with heavier truck plates to get out of emissions. illinois has now changed their emissions to cars 95 and newer. so no worries. also the fullsize i have now was a diesel so im except anyways :)
the first blazer had a 305 or 350 its had 3 engines in it. the camo blazer had a 400ci engine that came with the suburban. the burb i rescued from the scrap yard out of a impound yard, gave the guy $200 which was what it was worth in scrap at the time. and got lucky with the engine.
soo sad about ur chevys hate to see a old truck go:( my dads first truck was a 79 dodge ramcharger with 44"s and a 440, sadly the f***ing salt got to it and it met the same fate ass your blazers
yep. i got a k30 now i got from mississippi i built it to be the winter truck but now i dont even want to drive it in fear of it facing the same fate. though i figure this one is gonna take a few years. i rarellllllly see any older dodges around here. those always seem to be the first to go for some reason
had no floors left, drivers seat was sitting on a iron plate, the floor was rotted basically to the transmission tunnel. the walls were attached to the floors by angle iron and the the tailgate had to be welded shut to keep the body from splitting in half lol. the main reason was it wouldnt pass emissions. so it had to go. the burb i picked up dirt cheap and just built that thing
Alright... first thanks for the reply and second even with the great reason for crushing it its still hard to see such a cool truck in the crusher. Here in southern california we dont get enough rain to really rust anything that bad, I mean I dont even think I've seen something that bad before:)
yeah please dont cry when i tell you i recently crushed the camo truck too lol. out here they salt the roads which makes cars rot out extremely fast. after a offroading incident that whiped out the passenger side and rust issues i got rid of it. i went down to mississippi and picked up a military k30 pick up truck. thats my current offroad/tow truck.
WOW!!! sounds like you can litterally see the rust spread it moves so fast. I mean how long dose a vehicle last where you live and where is that if you dont mind me asking?
it depends. most of the old 4x4s are used as plow trucks or transportation during the winter months so finding good ones out here are getting rarer hopefully this k30 lasts forever. im sick of having to build a new truck every 2-4 years. i live just south of chicago
Sounds like you should make a trip to southern california to buy your next one because there still is a bunch of old rust free 4x4's out here for pretty good prices most of the time I mean in LA there are stock and coustom k5's, suburban's and what ever you can think of out here and sometimes making a long trip to find the right one is toltally worth it.
heck yeah, i took every dang thing that wasnt welded down out of that truck. i still use a lot of parts including the lift and axles that came off that truck. still have the trans laying around too
how mutch lift is on the suburban and what tire size is on it,we are building a 89 suburban hearse were getting ready to put a six in supe. lift on it and a set of 38.5 ground hawgs??
suburban had a 6inch skyjacker lift on it and had a set of 38/12.50 tsl swampers on it. the tires did technically fit under there with the 6inch lift just couldnt turn or hit any hard bumps. so i had to trim the fenders. the green blazer had the same suspension and same tires but i added a 2inch body lift so i didnt have to tear up the body on that truck
sweet... great first truck, easy and cheep to work on. thanks for complimenting the video... im surprised at all the positive feedback i got for something i just threw together. good luck with your truck
yeah but for cheep as these things are ive always had one as the second vehicle during these trucks i had a 4cyl ranger and a 2.8s10 as my daily driver. the camo truck i put back down on 33s and is pretty much just a grocery getter/winter type truck now
i dont think it had any kinda lift on it when i got it. looked about what a stock k5 would look like. pretty sure the cucv blazers didnt really have a lift but who knows i just bought it cause it had floors and a cool paint job. had 33s on it and bent up fender edges from them hitting. NOW it has a 6inch suspension and 2inch body
the body was complete crap. i had that truck for 4 years i didnt think it would make it 2. floors were gone. drivers seat was on a huge 1/4 inch plate. the passenger seat literally fell through the floor lol. had braces all over holding the floors to the walls. tailgate had to be bolted on to keep the body from spliting over. it seen better days. the green one i have now has floors. thats all i ask for now in a truck after owning that black one
for the time and money it would have cost to fix it , it really wasnt worth it. not only were the floors gone but the body was tweaked to hell. had a ton of electrical problems and the engine was crap. so for a pile i got for free and lasted 4 years im happy with it. im not even sure the floor boards could have been replaced. the walls were pretty much gone too. trust me it was hard to see that thing go
This video brought a tear to my eye. I owned a '84 K5, 4 inch lift, 35's, 350 with a 2 bbl. She had a time of her life, and I was close to tearin' up seeing her drive away. Immediately the next day I bought a '88 Suburban. I made this choice after seeing this video 6-7 times the night before buying the 'burb.
Now, as she sits, she is waiting on a 6 inch lift and some super swampers.
awesome. glad you liked the video. i just kinda made it really quick being stupid glad to see it get such a positive response. i loved the burb but it was to dang big for where i went wheeling. and the camo k5 is retired from offroad... well hardcore stuff anyways. i got a s10 on solid axles i destroy now, i think its in another video
yeah the last k5 is a old military one. most of the stuff was striped out of it when i got it. so its basically just a stock k5 with some tags here and there and no carpet
can always swap one in there if you got the time and money. i think they even sell kits now. i kinda retired the green blazer and use it basically as a winter or recovery vehical and wheel with a 93 s10 blazer with the old 1/2 tons that were under those three trucks. ill be posting a video of that truck within the next few weeks, in my opinion it kicks ass over any one of these trucks offroad :) that solid front axle makes one hell of a difference offroad
the first black blazer and the suburban had just a 6inch lift and yeah they had blocks in the back. when i went to the green blazer i didnt want to use the blocks anymore so i bought 6inch superlift lift springs and also went and put a 2inch body lift on it cause i didnt want to cut the fenders.
and yeah 38 12.50 15 TSL swampers. they are about bald gonna need new ones soon
I posted a video of me getting stuck with my Jimmy this winter I got my truck in OFF-ROAD-ADVENTURES MAGAZINE with a picture from this same day! LOADS OF FUN!
Great video I only love GM Trucks and cars I have had a 1987 GMC JIMMY/BLAZER, 1986 GMC JIMMY/BLAZER and a 1994 Chevy Suburban and have drove about 5 older suburbans for like a month or so I still have my 1986 JIMMY but gas is so outrageous but at least I have a full tank now $120 out of my pocket though!!!
yeah i hear you. i used to love to take the blazer out offroad all the time or on weekends with the roof off but now its basically driven once a month a few miles just to keep everything charged and lubed up.
yeah its really sad I'm going to have to park it and get a four banger or a v6 chev and save it for my weekend warrior! my father in law has a 1984 GMC Suburban with a 500HP 383 Stroker motor and he is pissed about the gas prices to guess it finally shows its not the 80's anymore!
wow sad about the gas but dont you worry bro gas prices gona go down one day but my dad used to be a smugler long time ago in saudia arabia he only used a subeban for his smugling man their the one to choos they had the police engines at that time i dont no if they have them here any more i bleave it was a 1964 0r a 1970 im not shure but they had special ingine in them old suberbans ,,500 horeses GMC not chevy he said chevy are bad luck i dont know why lol
interesting evolution, form Blaze to burb to blaze again...yeah..burbs are sketchy, yet how could you toast the first one? will book mark this build...thank you!
it pretty much fell apart on me, had no floors, body was split in half and was resting on the frame. the final straw was emissions. it kept failing and was told my license would be suspended if i kept it. the burb, same story, floor was rotted out, and just to dang big. i still got the green blazer and plan on keeping it forever, i made sure it had floors. i dont want to build another one.
first blazer had no floors. it wasnt safe at all to drive anymore it also failed emissions so it had to go. suburban basicly the same thing. the rear floor was rotted really bad and the body was all twisted up from offroading the doors in the back were really hard to close. and just the size of it got on my nerves offroad. i still have the camo blazer. i made sure it had floors before i bought it
thanks. i loved that truck too. picked it up for $200 out of a impound yard. hated to get rid of it but the rear floor rotted out and the body was all twisted and jacked up by the time i got done with it
i got an 01 chevy suburban 2500 4wd 496 special order cubic inch engine police radar.. defff not as capable with independent in the front but you know keeping the legend alive! nice vid

You running 38s?
K20wheeler 2 years ago
yeah 38 12.50s... recently sold them due to being bald. downsized to 33s and wheeling a fullsize axled s10 blazer on 33s.
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
I had an 82 K20 Suburban stock except for bigger tires and a KN, that thing took me where ever I wanted. It got real ugly after the paint faded away and the rust set in. Pulled my boat around the last couple years of it's life.

stupid ass illinois emissions tests... i had to get rid of 2 or 3 cool trucks because of those bastards..
rednecktruck19 2 years ago
after the first black truck was scrapped i just had them plated in indiana with heavier truck plates to get out of emissions. illinois has now changed their emissions to cars 95 and newer. so no worries. also the fullsize i have now was a diesel so im except anyways :)
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
hey that's great news, fatty!
rednecktruck19 2 years ago
i bought a 1986 burb and i never had to go through emissions.....and i live in illinois
johnylaw12 2 years ago
Just sold my 87 K-5, I used it in my movie Gun Town. Wish I still had it.

what state do you live in ?are these pics in california? i need to find some mud to find out what break on my peice of crap
gummmmmbycorey1 2 years ago
what are you running in that blazer?
gummmmmbycorey1 2 years ago
the first blazer had a 305 or 350 its had 3 engines in it. the camo blazer had a 400ci engine that came with the suburban. the burb i rescued from the scrap yard out of a impound yard, gave the guy $200 which was what it was worth in scrap at the time. and got lucky with the engine.

that way there built like the hood holds water

i hate the fucking salt!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
soo sad about ur chevys hate to see a old truck go:( my dads first truck was a 79 dodge ramcharger with 44"s and a 440, sadly the f***ing salt got to it and it met the same fate ass your blazers
mopar8903 2 years ago
yep. i got a k30 now i got from mississippi i built it to be the winter truck but now i dont even want to drive it in fear of it facing the same fate. though i figure this one is gonna take a few years. i rarellllllly see any older dodges around here. those always seem to be the first to go for some reason
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
I had a 78 bronco was the same way with the salt on the roads. It was a good truck when I had it.
SuperRitchey 2 years ago
why was the first k5 crushed?
TheCaferocker 2 years ago
had no floors left, drivers seat was sitting on a iron plate, the floor was rotted basically to the transmission tunnel. the walls were attached to the floors by angle iron and the the tailgate had to be welded shut to keep the body from splitting in half lol. the main reason was it wouldnt pass emissions. so it had to go. the burb i picked up dirt cheap and just built that thing
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
Alright... first thanks for the reply and second even with the great reason for crushing it its still hard to see such a cool truck in the crusher. Here in southern california we dont get enough rain to really rust anything that bad, I mean I dont even think I've seen something that bad before:)
TheCaferocker 2 years ago
yeah please dont cry when i tell you i recently crushed the camo truck too lol. out here they salt the roads which makes cars rot out extremely fast. after a offroading incident that whiped out the passenger side and rust issues i got rid of it. i went down to mississippi and picked up a military k30 pick up truck. thats my current offroad/tow truck.
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
WOW!!! sounds like you can litterally see the rust spread it moves so fast. I mean how long dose a vehicle last where you live and where is that if you dont mind me asking?
TheCaferocker 2 years ago
it depends. most of the old 4x4s are used as plow trucks or transportation during the winter months so finding good ones out here are getting rarer hopefully this k30 lasts forever. im sick of having to build a new truck every 2-4 years. i live just south of chicago
fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
Sounds like you should make a trip to southern california to buy your next one because there still is a bunch of old rust free 4x4's out here for pretty good prices most of the time I mean in LA there are stock and coustom k5's, suburban's and what ever you can think of out here and sometimes making a long trip to find the right one is toltally worth it.
TheCaferocker 2 years ago
did you get the lift off of it b4 it was crushed?
4x4zz 2 years ago
heck yeah, i took every dang thing that wasnt welded down out of that truck. i still use a lot of parts including the lift and axles that came off that truck. still have the trans laying around too

well thats good.

how mutch lift is on the suburban and what tire size is on it,we are building a 89 suburban hearse were getting ready to put a six in supe. lift on it and a set of 38.5 ground hawgs??
jake6576 2 years ago
suburban had a 6inch skyjacker lift on it and had a set of 38/12.50 tsl swampers on it. the tires did technically fit under there with the 6inch lift just couldnt turn or hit any hard bumps. so i had to trim the fenders. the green blazer had the same suspension and same tires but i added a 2inch body lift so i didnt have to tear up the body on that truck

Fuck buying a new truck. Nothing beats the build quality of trucks before 2000. They weren't thrown together with plastic back then.

fattpieceofcrap 2 years ago
mhm i think ill have to get one later as a project rig

nice m1009 blazer, do you know what kind of lift kit they had on it?
k30chevypickupman 3 years ago
i dont think it had any kinda lift on it when i got it. looked about what a stock k5 would look like. pretty sure the cucv blazers didnt really have a lift but who knows i just bought it cause it had floors and a cool paint job. had 33s on it and bent up fender edges from them hitting. NOW it has a 6inch suspension and 2inch body
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
the best thing about those cucv trucks is u cant get stuck anywhere. i know because i tried to gat the damn thing stuck. HAHA
k30chevypickupman 3 years ago
dude why did you crush the first blazer looked like there was nothing wrong with it!
Mississippi1313 3 years ago
Bad rust it looked like. Sounds like he had alot of water in the interior and when its there, its everywhere.
bikeitup14 2 years ago
What happen to the blazer in the begining Why was it being crush
YamahaBanshee559 3 years ago
the body was complete crap. i had that truck for 4 years i didnt think it would make it 2. floors were gone. drivers seat was on a huge 1/4 inch plate. the passenger seat literally fell through the floor lol. had braces all over holding the floors to the walls. tailgate had to be bolted on to keep the body from spliting over. it seen better days. the green one i have now has floors. thats all i ask for now in a truck after owning that black one
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
dude thats fixable just weld in there its not impossible to fix floor boards rusting off. sell the danm thing no need to kill it
Mississippi1313 3 years ago
for the time and money it would have cost to fix it , it really wasnt worth it. not only were the floors gone but the body was tweaked to hell. had a ton of electrical problems and the engine was crap. so for a pile i got for free and lasted 4 years im happy with it. im not even sure the floor boards could have been replaced. the walls were pretty much gone too. trust me it was hard to see that thing go
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
This video brought a tear to my eye. I owned a '84 K5, 4 inch lift, 35's, 350 with a 2 bbl. She had a time of her life, and I was close to tearin' up seeing her drive away. Immediately the next day I bought a '88 Suburban. I made this choice after seeing this video 6-7 times the night before buying the 'burb.
Now, as she sits, she is waiting on a 6 inch lift and some super swampers.
I love you man, thanks for sharing this video.
MuddinSuburban 3 years ago
awesome. glad you liked the video. i just kinda made it really quick being stupid glad to see it get such a positive response. i loved the burb but it was to dang big for where i went wheeling. and the camo k5 is retired from offroad... well hardcore stuff anyways. i got a s10 on solid axles i destroy now, i think its in another video
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
Is that last one a CUCV or just a K5 someone painted? either way cool trucks dude.
zztops08 3 years ago
yeah the last k5 is a old military one. most of the stuff was striped out of it when i got it. so its basically just a stock k5 with some tags here and there and no carpet
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
can always swap one in there if you got the time and money. i think they even sell kits now. i kinda retired the green blazer and use it basically as a winter or recovery vehical and wheel with a 93 s10 blazer with the old 1/2 tons that were under those three trucks. ill be posting a video of that truck within the next few weeks, in my opinion it kicks ass over any one of these trucks offroad :) that solid front axle makes one hell of a difference offroad

this video is awesome man...are those 38's and 8 in lift and do you have blocks on the back??
rockinblazer93 3 years ago
what size lift do you have on the blazer and tires????
rockinblazer93 3 years ago
the first black blazer and the suburban had just a 6inch lift and yeah they had blocks in the back. when i went to the green blazer i didnt want to use the blocks anymore so i bought 6inch superlift lift springs and also went and put a 2inch body lift on it cause i didnt want to cut the fenders.
and yeah 38 12.50 15 TSL swampers. they are about bald gonna need new ones soon
thanks for watching

Great video I only love GM Trucks and cars I have had a 1987 GMC JIMMY/BLAZER, 1986 GMC JIMMY/BLAZER and a 1994 Chevy Suburban and have drove about 5 older suburbans for like a month or so I still have my 1986 JIMMY but gas is so outrageous but at least I have a full tank now $120 out of my pocket though!!!
1986GMCJIMMY 3 years ago
yeah i hear you. i used to love to take the blazer out offroad all the time or on weekends with the roof off but now its basically driven once a month a few miles just to keep everything charged and lubed up.
fattpieceofcrap 3 years ago
yeah its really sad I'm going to have to park it and get a four banger or a v6 chev and save it for my weekend warrior! my father in law has a 1984 GMC Suburban with a 500HP 383 Stroker motor and he is pissed about the gas prices to guess it finally shows its not the 80's anymore!
1986GMCJIMMY 3 years ago
wow sad about the gas but dont you worry bro gas prices gona go down one day but my dad used to be a smugler long time ago in saudia arabia he only used a subeban for his smugling man their the one to choos they had the police engines at that time i dont no if they have them here any more i bleave it was a 1964 0r a 1970 im not shure but they had special ingine in them old suberbans ,,500 horeses GMC not chevy he said chevy are bad luck i dont know why lol

interesting evolution, form Blaze to burb to blaze again...yeah..burbs are sketchy, yet how could you toast the first one? will book mark this build...thank you!
ryanfromnm 4 years ago
it pretty much fell apart on me, had no floors, body was split in half and was resting on the frame. the final straw was emissions. it kept failing and was told my license would be suspended if i kept it. the burb, same story, floor was rotted out, and just to dang big. i still got the green blazer and plan on keeping it forever, i made sure it had floors. i dont want to build another one.
fattpieceofcrap 4 years ago
first blazer had no floors. it wasnt safe at all to drive anymore it also failed emissions so it had to go. suburban basicly the same thing. the rear floor was rotted really bad and the body was all twisted up from offroading the doors in the back were really hard to close. and just the size of it got on my nerves offroad. i still have the camo blazer. i made sure it had floors before i bought it
