All these men on this post are great scores . but only Miller and Allen are great shooters. Dell curry and his son are great shooters. Nice try but the post is lacking what the title suggests. the stats are clear morons, miller has a better FG%, period. allen has a higher 3PT%, sure, but jordan wasnt nearly as good as any of these at 3pt yet hes the most amazing of all time. 3pt is not what makes a shooter the best, sure its more points when it goes in...but we're talking about shooting in general, miller is better, period, its a fact look at the stats

Ray Allen is better than Reggie. Why? pretty simple. Ray has the most 3 pointers of all time. He has a better percentage than Reggie. Ray has the most 3 pointers in a single season. Ray has the most 3 pointers in a half, a series, and a finals series. Ray tied for the most 3 pointers in a finals game. Ray in 2010 broke his OWN record for most 3's in a finals game. Ray has a better free throw percentage, and Ray has the most continuous free throws made. Honestly if you pick Reggie your biased.

Ray has already attempted more threes than Reggie did in his whole career, and keep in mind Ray only played 27 games for two straight seasons. Of course you're going to have more career threes as a pure shooter if you attempt 6 a game vs Reggie who attempted 4.5 career. Reggie's FG% is .47 while Ray's is .45 which is a much bigger gap. Reggie led the league in FT% 5 times, while Ray never has.

ray in his prime was to me the best player/gaurd in the game because he could create his own shot and he had mad hops and drove but as time flew by he realized his role of the swingman and 3point specialist no harm in that, and nash is a point gaurd he is going to shoot the ball a lot less than ray thats why his fg percentage and 3point percentage is beetter,

How does Ray own Nash? Both were drafted in 1996 so they have both been playing the same time. Nash has a career fg % of .484 which blows away Ray who has .450. Nash has a career .432 three point percentage Allen isn't even a career .400 shooter at .386% Allen slighty edges Nash in free throw percentage Nash has a career average of .894 and Nash .893

Allen just has a higher career ppg average and Nash has shot over .400 from 3 every year except one. Allen has shot under .400 plenty of times

FG% is an overrated way of determining a great shooter. The reason Jordan got such a high FG% is because he was constantly taking the ball to the basket b/c he didn't have to shoot.
