  • Hey thank's for reply The radio to day is so cluttered with junk it is hard to get any thing on Am I like True country Music And the old blue's of year's a go But this stuff now that they are playing can't compare to the way it was Two style's that have been Watered Down so to speak ..Dewey Phillip's Red Hot and Blue out of Memphis was Great For Blue's And country music Them Day's are gone

  • Thank's so much for playing or posting a lot of this great music I was born In Memphis Tenn..And a lot of good music was played from the Delta We use to listen to the Hoss Man at night on WLAC Nashville -Gal. Tn. Fifty year's a go .

  • @latokatn506 WLAC is like an institution. We couldn't get it in New Orleans but at night we could get WDIA out of Memphis. When I heard Chuck Berry singing "Little Star", I was hooked. Their format was so foreign to the top 40 radio I was use to hearing. I sort of miss AM radio with the buzzing, humming and God forbid if you turned a florescent light on! I am so glad they didn't have X Boxes, Play Stations and computers when I was a kid. We had to "work" to play and find music by fine tuning!

  • Thanks 9th for posting and the compliment.... I grew up in the same area where Rocket Morgan hails from and also had older brothers that would listen to the radio which played his songs among others...in this time frame I feel this was the gensis of Swamp Pop....once again thanks for posting

  • @CajunRice1000 My pleasure.

  • @latokatn506 I agree and Lord knows when i would have posted it had it not been for Youtuber CajunRice requesting it.
