  • storm- noregsgard sounds just like this equally awesome

  • I love the album art :)

  • a song sang by mythomaniac...

  • I thought I was a phenomenon in Black Metal scenario... I don't look like someone tr00 and I don't want to look like, but I fuckin' enjoy Black Metal.

I am a serious candidate to be called "poser" and others, but sincerely I don't give a fuck... As said below, Metal must exist regardless of appearance.

You know a genre who cares about appearance? Shitty pop /poop music.

    What about that? Huh?

  • 16 "shristians" listened to this song...

  • nice riff but the voice its worse than my girlfriend's...

  • @Dbalx It's so bad it's awesome

  • hahahahahha i fucking love this voice hahahhahhahha

  • Sataaaaaaaan!! aaahhhh

  • To the people discussing appearance and metal, just remember that the average metalhead looks a certain way because he saw someone that looked similar and thought it would be cool in a rebellious kind of way to dress the same. True metalheads are actually true music fans and don't really care how someone dresses as long as you're not a tool about it (i.e. you look like you would fit in on Jersey Shore or at a rap "concert"). Just my $0.02.

    P.S. DARKTHRONE FUCK YEAH \m/

  • Never to the advertisement below

  • The only problem I have with Black Metal fans is their views on appearance. When I'm talking about music with people, and I say I love black metal, they call me a poser, or a "faggot", just because i don't have long hair and I look like I'm "scene" (which I'm honestly not aha)

Metal is supposed to be the genre where no one gives a fuck what you look like -.-

    Awesome song, though \m/

  • @KuroNeko2913 I got the same problem. I sometimes look like the scene - I have long hair, often wear black etc, but sometimes I just want to go out wearing some adidas tracksuit or jeans. Then they stare at me and ever ask if I changed my views.

  • @KuroNeko2913 Answer is anyone who treats you like that is themselves a fag poser who just wants to fit in with a crowd. They would probably have you think that hair just naturally was always 3 feet long and jet black and they've had those piercings and tattoos from birth. Truth is they have done plenty to make themselves 'fit in'. Metal, especially darker (in this case black) metal has nothing to do with how you look.

  • @ilovedraconian I agree,thank you

  • @KuroNeko2913 Fuck yeah, I have the same problem. I'm a woman and I like floral patterns and hot pink so people call me a poser too. I wear black/grey most of the time but I cannot help it if I want to look like a woman every now and then. Also, I don't like to wear goth makeup either, I prefer the natural look. I stick out like a sore thumb at metal shows. :D

  • @MissJeanette69 Haha I stick out depending on the show, I went to Mayhem and I don't think the people liked me.. xD

I'm going to see dark Funeral and Belphegor in February and the people there will probably hate me too! But at shows like Children of Bodom and Amon Amarth, people didn't really care about my looks

  • @KuroNeko2913

Music is for the ears, fashion is for the eyes. I'm for the music.

  • @KuroNeko2913 yeah when someone ask me what music I like and I say black metal, they have not expect that, because I look like the average person on street..Years ago..it was band shirts, boots, long hair, leather jacket..the stereotype...but at a certain point I grow out of it and wear the more normal stuff, and now I listen a lot more black metal than then

  • @xyqk Thats the same with me, but everyone I know thinks "black metal" is black people that make metal music -_-

  • @Meta1headMike Its difficult to explain to people who have never listened black metal, they think its maybe the same as the average metal band, when I say black metal, the other guy say,ooh oke,do you know the band ...I dont know what the band was anymore but is was a popular nu metal band. And I thought yeah you know nothing about it,and people think its just noise and screaming and don't hear the emotions, hate and beautifull melodies in the music, they dont even try to listen to it

  • @xyqk I love when posers tell me they listen to black metal, for i ask them what bands, songs, etc and quickly prove their poserness with their ignorance.

  • Learn to spell. Vocals*

  • This is rifftastic!

  • EIGHT MILES DEEP THE WELL FORGOTTEN BY MORTALS

OH, I DRANK IT EMPTY IN ONE SINGLE SIP

EIGHT MILES WIDE THE VALLEY BEYOND ALL HOPE

OH, I FILLED THE WHOLE WITH ONE SINGLE FIST

FIVE MILLION CHRISTIANS ON A RIDE TOWARDS US

  • @VideoMask93 so there are Christians who listen to black metal ...... !! I LIKE THAT

  • SMOKE WEED

  • @LacrimaLuciferi Ha, Indeed, Black Metal & skunk. Can't go wrong.

  • I used to be a christian, then I took Nokturno Culto's spear to the knee...

  • @blackmetalblunt Mixing atheism, Skyrim, and black metal into one joke...as a Christian who enjoys a good joke, I approve.

  • The Cookie Monster never sounded so badass.

  • Five million women so alone in the night

Oh, I had them all satisfied profusely every night by myself

    true story

  • @gears5336 I thought the lyric was "in the bed by myself"

  • I love Nocturno Culto's voice is so raw bfff orgasmic!

  • weirdest song ever

  • "ten thousand trolls" should be an orrible site.

  • WHY THE FUCK ARE DIMMU BORGIR MENTIONED IN A DARKTHRONE VIDEO? F.O.A.D!!! HAIL DARKTHRONE!

  • Best song ever.

  • Entka hlis, nit ghret orstet nit trägel sibleiter

  • fuck black metal fuck niggers.

    sieg heil /

  • @Ufoahi fuck you

    polish power

  • varg wrote this HOLY SHIT!!!

  • "Five million women. So alone in the night. I had them all satisfied. Profusly. (Every night and by myself)." - this song (lyrics written by V.V.)

Not even the mighty Tor could do that. C'mon. Maybe Loke could...

This is absolutely the best (worst) Norweigian black metal band ever. They've still set so many standards.

Darkthrone is the greatest black metal from the North still alive. Regard them as such and buy their music to support them in the future.

  • hail Fenriz and Nocturnal Culto for Darkthrone! Hails all around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hail Norge and fjell ov Norge!

  • Haha, det virker som om Ted leser rett fra teksten av og til.

  • Heia Norge, mørke skoger , tusser og troll...

  • This can kick your balls anyday!

  • you don't even need to credit varg as the lyricist. you can tell these lyrics are his

  • awwwwwsssssssooooommmmmmeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish the vocals were a little more black, but the riff is fucking cold.

  • @lulztr0n

The vocals sound "black" and are sick on this song

  • @sweeetyg I just wish they sounded more like something out of their Hordes of Nebulah song.

  • black metal artist sure do like the forest.

  • @DeathMetalMorty Norwegians sure do love the forest*

It just happens a lot of black metal artists are Norwegian, or they unintelligently worship the Norwegians and therefore pointlessly clone the forests and grimness and snow too.

  • 3:00 best mistake ever!

  • I could Imagine reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series while listening to this song

  • I think this is Darkthrone's best song.

  • Brutal as fuck \m/

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • in a better word ppl would only talk about Darkthrone on a Darkthrone video...

  • Whether you like Dimmu/Gorgoroth/Cradle or not. There's no point arguing. True black metal, is, and always will be the early days where even the record labels were unsure on whether to sign the necro-sound that we all love today.

  • æ e folj på heimbrent æ.og høre musikk fra fordums tider.Stas.. her spelles darkthorne med andakt..

  • all these people arguing.. makes me laugh

u JUST can't enjoy huh? lol.

  • @theleonidaz

I try to ignore youtube comments, they are all so retarded they make my eyes cross and my brain explode.

  • The anger in his voice in this song is huge!! Darkthrone forever!

  • Every time I hear this song, I always imagine walking through a foggy forest on a grim, winter night. I love the rawness and atmosphere of this whole album. \m/

  • Sounds like you're dropping into the depths of hell.

  • You know what it is that makes this song? It's the pace. It would have been so easy for them to play it at breakneck speed with machine-gun drumming and thrash riffs. But they didn't. The whole composition has a self assured grind to it that says these guys knew exactly what they were doing and had the confidence to drag it out painfully over seven and a half minutes. It's the pace and wailed lyrics that make this a jet black gem. Note the agonized depth of sound between 4.00 and 4.30

  • This is my all time favorite darkthrone song the riffs are just so fucking amazing and plus varg wrote the lyrics the vocals are awesome too.

  • such a great album

  • 0:32 ive forgotten my mojo hahah

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck hahahahahah xD

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck and i always thought I am the only one who understands this ^^

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck

i will agree that if you don't read the lyrics, it will sound like that

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck

    what is a mojo?

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck jajajajajajajajajajajajajjajajaa WTFFFFFFFFF!

  • almost like the best song ever probably....ja

  • Darkthrone - настоящий Black Metal.

У меня даже аудиокассета этого альбома есть.

  • I'm an american black metal fan but not for much longer I'm moving to Canada as soon as i get the chance fuck America Land of the Brave and Free more like Land of the Brainwashed and Ignorant.

  • @606thecliff Good, leave.

We don't need any more unpatriotic pieces of shit in our country than we already have.

  • @606thecliff glad im not the only American born individual that thinks that :)

  • Been years since I was in my Black Metal times. Ive always been the guy to listen to everything, liking whatever that is good music! And this... I will ALWAYS love Black Metal!

  • What are Norweigian Black Metal fan's views towards American black metal fans? (Not as in American Black Metal, but American's that are fans of the real black metal)

  • Awesome vocals. 100% unique.

  • Play the intro to enter your mountain by Bathory with this they mesh, slightly different tempos, But you can hear the two fit

and the vocals dont ruin this, he's meant to be a warrior they're fucking GREAT!

  • @88artemida Lol, typical elitist black metal nerd talk.

  • @88artemida along with "For All Tid"

  • @NotRummy44

    very true

  • @88artemida YES. Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia was their last great album. DCA and everything after is pretty bland and boring (especially Abrahadabra).

  • @88artemida Why are people posting dimmu burger comments on a Darkthrone video? Blasphemy.

  • @88artemida ur forgetting "for all tid"

  • @88artemida Talking about Dimmu Borgir and COF is so boooooring under videos of bands like Darkthrone,Emperor,BURZUM and MayheM...they just f*cked up this genre in mi oppinion.

  • Grande Darktrhone!!!!!!!!!!

  • Darkthrone will forever be one of my favorite bands, kick ass song

  • Hail from the south to Norway. That's fucking perfect BM!

  • No question I cannot do answer!

Glad they included an intellectual asset

  • THE BAND

  • th very bst!!!greetings from colombia!!!!

  • This is pure Hellhammer influence, Reminds me

    Buried And Forgotten.

  • Yummy, makes me want to burn a church : D

  • ANY1 THAT THINKS SYMPHONIC AND MELODIC METAL DOES NOT SUCK PRESS THE LIKE BUTTON IN THAT COMMENT

  • The Best! \,,/

  • Also, the broken English makes this song even better. And if I remember correctly, this riff was re-used on one of the tracks off of the Storm - Nordavind album. It works better here, though.

  • This is such an underrated album. Not only was this the last true Darkthrone album, it was even better than Transylvanian Hunger and only behind "A Blaze..." and "Under a Funeral Moon". I think a lot of people didn't like this album because it was raw as fuck with the vocals...totally untraditional & probably too "extreme" for the people who wanted to believe they were "extreme metal fans". Great fucking album. It was all downhill for Darkthrone after this one...

  • I love this voice, mmm I think is the best voice in black metal...but it's only my opinion

  • Best BM vocals ever, puts faggots like Dannyboy Filth to shame...

  • @redbirdsescape really? like seriously dude??

  • @xPsychoxClownx seriously to what? dani filth being a faggot? maybe not in a literal sense, but yeah...

as for the vocals...you tell me what's wrong with them.

  • @redbirdsescape those vocals are NOT better than dani filths. i know a lot of people hate cradle, but the thought that this guy is a more talented singer than dani filth, that's just biased bullshit. completely untrue.

  • Comment removed

  • @xPsychoxClownx What the fuck are you chewing? even comparing that scrawny cunt to Fenriz is blasphemy

  • @Satanischer why stop at dani filth? Shagrath, Gaahl, Dead, Satyr, Varg Vikernes, I can go on and on. I like Darkthrone, but there are PLENTY of singers in black metal that put Fenriz to shame. Nocturno is one of them. And also, Cradle of FIlth isn't even black metal, nor do they claim to be black metal, and they have never claimed to be black metal. So pull your head out of your ass, quit being such a fuckin snob, and enjoy your fuckin music.

  • @xPsychoxClownx black metal is not about talent you jarmo. this shit is primitive and barabaric

  • @Gnartrand That is VERY true. But you should have read the part of my comment where i said that Cradle of Filth is NOT black metal. Every black metal video has someone comparing COF to whatever band the video is, but you can't compare any BM band to cradle, because they're two different types of music. But nonetheless, talent IS important, even the most raw and primal black metal band has to be somewhat talented, or it wouldn't sound good. It'd just be shit music. And what is a jarmo?

  • This riff was also used in the song Noregsgard by Storm. That is also a really good song too.

  • @unqualeNienaite and used in

    isengard

  • @unqualeNienaite and used in Isengard

  • @unqualeNienaite and used in Isengard

  • Absolutely, ONE OF THE BEST, a lot of poetry and darkness, beautiful sound.

  • This song makes me want to punch a grizzly bear to death. >:D

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • riff sound s like x mas song :D

  • @TheDenres192 No it doesn't.

  • @CrazyMetalZombie yes it does

  • @TheDenres192 No it doesn't.

  • @CrazyMetalZombie yes it does,nuf said

  • this song is more manly than peeing standing up /the rape train has no breaks!!

  • one of the best BM vocals...i miss these times....

unique Dark throne song with an expecial feeling...memorarable song

  • this riff sounds like the song noregsgard from fenriz, satyr and kari folk project Storm, check that out

  • Comment removed

  • it sounds like a song derived from a D&D game or something but it IS a fucking amazing song!

  • these were the days - RIP Darkthrone

  • What? Isn't that a Storm song with another lyrics?

  • THE RIFF

  • AARRRRGGHHH!! THIS SONG JUST ABSORBS ME INTO FUKING FREEZING VOID!!!!

  • pfff I love nocturno culto's voice ...amazing

  • saaaaaaaaattaaaaaannnn.... aaaawwwaraaaaaaarrrrrhhhhh...

  • fucking sick song. I find the best black metal is the repetitive stuff. gives you time to get the mood of the song then just lose yourself to it. awesome.

  • @cessecup WORD

  • If you do not like then do not listen! Shut up moaning!!!!!

  • this shit vocal ruins all music, where can I find instrumental version?

  • @Ufoahi Shitty? One of the best BM vocals ever!

  • @Spikeshred

maybe, but personally, it irritates my ears

  • @Spikeshred what do u mean one of the best??
