I lost a son at 5 days old drs told me to abort at 20 weeks and i wouldnt do it cuz i felt that my son deserved a chance too.. he made it 5 days... he was born at 31 weeks through c section the drs then told me i couldnt have children again and if i did carry another child there was a 1 in 4 chance that the same would happen again.. I got another blessing he is now 6 mths old and i would NEVER in my life have an abortion..

I gotta say; I've been to war, killed men, uncovered mass graves. This is the most hideous thing I have ever seen. I still think it should be allowable if the child is going to be born with serious health problems, and likely have a shortened and painful existence.  As for the women that do this kind of thing, Make them have the baby, and raise it. If youre enough of an adult to have sex, be responsible enough to deal with the consequences. My two cents....

@whiteblazejunky I'd condemn the people who do this for a living before I'd condemn the women. Many of them are young & scared & aren't fully aware of what is being done inside them. My two cents is that laws should be passed whereby none of this can be praciced on a woman without her fully knowing what is happening, not just the pretty whitewashed version like "the fetus is just tissue at this stage, it can't feel anything, we just gently vaccuum out the tissue, no harm done luvvy".

I agree that it isn't "informed consent" until the woman sees what really happens when having an abortion. It makes me so sad that people say "it's ok , it's not really a baby, what about the woman's rights"? Except in the case of rape, the woman knew what she was doing when having sex. She gave up her "right" when not taking responsibility of her actions.

I totally agree. I once heard that in america, abortions are legal at term! A baby ready to be born at 38 weeks being aborted. It discusts me! Those babies that were seen on footage were between 20 and 30 weeks of gestation.

There are so many families in the world who cannot concieve and are desperate to start a family. Why can't these woman consider adoption and give their unwanted child to a family that will olove and cherish that child for the rest of his or her life!

I think I can answer that one. I am VERY anti-abortion. I too, however, voted for Obama. Why? Because McCain is so wishy-washy. It USED to be that McCain took a "Pro-Life" stance. During election times, however, he began backing off, saying he was more "Pro-choice" than anything.
