This is an amazing song, and an amazing band as well. I have been a fan for quite some time and i would recommend purchasing all of their albums (probably starting with feel good ghosts, meaning of 8 or light chasers). On a side note, anyone else notice that Craig Minowa is wearing only one shoe? The hell?

I've watched several vids of this band...What does this band sound like when they aren't shouting? Your vocals ruin your beautiful musicianship. This band has the vocal talent for a minimum of three part harmony.  (singing the same note in three different octives is...snoozefest. try something else.) It doesn't matter how moving or heartfelt your lyrics are if people get bored with your music. Violin, cello, guitar...soul instruments...now for some good harmonies that make me want to listen

Bands should not attempt orchestrating unless they have some knowledge of how to do it... that beginning segment was like "How Not to Write for Violin and Cello 101" It was impossible for them not to sound out of tune the way it was written.

i don't think that ambient drum synth or major 5th chords are very traditional, therefore i don't believe that it is a clear attempt at writing traditional harmonies. i'm not saying that they are not trying to, but i don't think it's accurate to it's "clearly" and attempt at it.

also, i'm not challenging you on if you know how to write music for violin or cello, or saying you're wrong, i'm just giving another point of view.

I had never heard of them, heard them nor knew they existed. I started listening to Pretty Voice after finding a Mike Doughty video here and was 10 seconds from moving on... I consider it now to have been one of my bigger mistakes not made.

It is not seamless nor even that clean. His voice is at first hearing a bit annoying... but there is undeniable passion in this. I will certainly no longer not know of them.
