  • omg i love you so much for posting this video..i was at the july 3rd concert also and I was waiting and waiting and waiting for them to play this song. I am so favoriting this!

  • your microphone is picking up the bass well =D

  • just saw them tonight they were fucking awesome

  • i was at the concert in fargo

    way better than seattle haha

  • Yeah, but you live in Fargo.

  • omg i wud have loved to b thereeee!

  • i was at that concert! YA! but i was down way lower!

  • Wow! Thats about where I was!

    Hha

    Great concert

  • For those concerned about the display of the flag on stage, take a closer look;

Count how many stars and stripes are on it.

I don't think it qualifies as a true American Flag in the first place.

  • no, it wasn't. agreed. wasn't even a real flag. but.... look at how the flag was displayed at grammys 2005 performance of same song.

i had to explain to my 16 yr old son what the deal was. brought back really bad memories. we both love green day.

  • What's to explain?

I'd say its a moment to teach. I'm more bothered by what has been done with the flag when it's been the right side up.

    Bad memories?

I too love Green Day AND their message. The the red, white and blue has been hijacked for their own immoral purposes, of money, war and religion.

They have every right to be disgusted. I am too. If it still bothers you, drop em a line and tell them. Let them explain for themselves.

  • yeah, bad memories. my older brothers and nam.

now my son wanting to join up cause he watched 9/11 at age 9. i'm not wanting to lose my only family member left, but i want him to understand what my dad sacrificed in WWII. that flag meant a lot to dad.

i believe in protest. god knows i did my share. just leave the flag outta it. that's a big reason we are laughed at. it's old.

so, thumb me down and let's drop it k? green day rocks.

  • its funy because the ones who are destroying everything the flag "stands" for are the politcians

  • i was there! omgsh it was the best day of my life! and it was soooo loud and amazing i wish i could re live it because i thought u werent allowed with cameras and the first fuckin thing i noticed was there was a bunch of cameras DX DX DX

  • for people on floor.. is there any mosh pit or somethin? im pretty scared & so excited too. . its my first green day ( and big) concert .. im pretty short! i dont want to die lol.

  • i was there and i didnt see any moshing but there was a little crowd surfing

  • Moshing generally happens mid pit. All the people who press towards the front of the pit usually aren't there to mosh but to watch, but it's rough to keep your place. You're constantly pushed around, even if you're a bigger guy. Everyone moves as one entity. The people at the back of the pit are generally just there to watch but don't want to fight all the crowd to get to the front. But those in the middle are generally the moshers because people who don't want to mosh usually move for them

  • I wonder how Tre feels about not getting to skip and jump and frolick around while performing.

  • Why isn't he allowed?

  • Well, I'm sure he's allowed, but it would probably be harder to do so with a drum set rather than a guitar. Though in the American Idiot video he does some "frolicking" or "leaping" or "dancing". It's all the same :)

  • i was there and it was amazing!!

  • The wait for October 31st is killing me!!!!! Cannot WAIT to see them again!

  • i was there!!!

  • great video. GREAT CONCERT! not cool having flag upside down. it was like that whole concert. i grew up w/older fam members and such going to nam. we thought the flag thing cool then...it's not. anyway, i was there 7/3, was a great concert!

  • it just means your in distress.

  • I know exactly what it means. To be precise, according to Title 36, U.S.C, Chapter 10, 176(a): The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. I thought it cool in my young teenage yrs when the flag was used like this to protest war/gov. I just didnt see the point here. I dont want to belabor the issue. It was disappointing to see this old trick pulled by a band I like so much.

  • well though its not the exact meaning, it is fitting figuratively considering this country is in distress.

  • august 15th pepsi center here i come

  • Shit, I missed it, is there any chance of them coming back to Seattle within the next year like AC/DC did?

  • Doubt it :(

  • i was here but i most likely am also goin to their last US show in LA

  • i would give anything to go back to last night. IT ROCKED!!!!!!!

  • ah the set looks great! cant wait to see them!

  • omg! i can't want until july 27th when I see them live. it's gonna be amazing (:

  • i'm going the 28th!!! i cant wait!!

  • this concert was AWESOME!!!! Best band eva!

  • the very best night of my life.

  • Same here, man.. So amazing..

  • The Concert Rocked
