I noticed somebody else commented this already--but you do indeed have a Cooper's Hawk there! (It looks a bit large to be a Sharp-shinned). Great feeder visitors! XD

@b1mgqn56 Hi Angel - thanks for the nice comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I appreciate that you took the time to leave a comment. I wish you a Happy New Year!
Nice video, I also love animals. I have a lot of coons, possums and deer that come up to my place. Several squirrels this year and I saw a rabbit which I had not seen in a very long time. 5 *****. Beautiful cat and dog.
Hi Darlene - we enjoy the wildlife, we get quite a few squirrels, like you mentioned, ourselves. Especially during the winter. We used to have coons come around all the time into our chicken coop. You'd walk in there and sometimes there would be 3 of them in there. They never bothered the chickens, they would just go for the eggs. It always amazed me how the chickens weren't even scared of them.
I have a hummingbird feeder on a sheperds hook right by some bushes and my one cat sits in the bushes and stares at the hummingbirds drink. Doesn't even try to get the birds. Go figure.
Hiya Slim! - Doesn't have that killer instinct like you, huh? hehe! Just joking! We've got a hummingbird feeder hanging out in front of our kitchen window. Actually this year, we didn't see them much. The last few years we've had two of them that kept coming around all the time. They are fun to watch. It's amazing how fast they maneuver and dart around.
This video is RIGHT up my alley! I love nature and we feed birds, always trying to attract the pretty ones, and also squirrels and hawks, etc! Isn't it a blast?
Did you research that hawk? I believe he's a Cooper's Hawk... I think if you look at the redtailed hawk - he doesn't have those distinct black stripes on the inside tail, like your visitor has. Just saying.
Hello Bflatblues - we love the wildlife that our feeders attract too - except for grackles, they take the feeders over and scare the smaller birds away. They're not an attractive bird either, unless you like black (I don't think they are, at least). You caught me on the hawk - I put the wrong name on the video, I was thinking of the red-tailed hawks that we also have around here. They are a real pretty hawk. They're the ones we have troubles with killing our chickens. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Got some excellent shots of that woodpecker, Ben. I dig critters, so this vid was quite enjoyable to watch.

Nice Vid Ben.
I currently have a woodpecker hanging around my house, EVERY MORNING he pecks the roof! It's soooo loud!
So we got this crazy looking owl statue, haha Hopefully it scares the weird woodpecker away!

Thanks Elf ! and good luck with getting rid of the weird woodpecker.
