sure the lightining has more power, it will hook up better but!! the lightning will cut off at 110 and the dakota cuts off at 130, the dakota has a sportier feel, they made it in more colors, it has a better 0-60, and there cheaper, do some research and and leave this guy alone

hmm, the rt i was in cut it out at 115, and if, and i say if, someone was to go in the lightnings computer and disable the speed limiter, id would kick the dodges butt.

Well, this was in overdrive, and I wasn't driving, so it could have been a little higher, I just guessed it was around 115 from what I could see.

@urb29579 It depends on year. I've had a '00 and '02 R/T the '02 cut at 115.

funny our stock dakota slt 4.7 beats mustang gts all the way to the speed limiter and it doesnt handle like a truck at all with low pros and 18s it handles better than my 240sx ah thank you..

@chawoosemothergoose not full of shit man i just beat a v-tech integra the other night on the way home from a dig. the mustan was an 03 GT auto. ofcourse you'd beat one in a 5 spd that freakin speed cut pisses me off.. but yes a gt with exhaust and cold air would beat my truck especially a 5spd i nvr said the stang had mods did i? lol oh and beat a couple cocky ass harleys in front of their club house..

@firelizard007 ya integras are fucking slow guaranteed you would beat that. and I guess I'm thinking S197s. you wouldnt be able to keep up with a stock 05 GT. cold air and exhaust do shit all but the hurst makes shifts twice as fast so that does make a difference I guess

Is it reliable? i ask because i have a 03 Dak R/T CC w/ full bolt-ons and im thinking about supercharging it. Ive been looking at different kits and wanted get some feedback on how reliable each kit is.  Are you running an intercooler, etc with it?
