  • Let us all go back to the old landmark, and then stay in the service of the lord. Preacher preach the word in the old time way, and we'll stay in the service of the lord. lets go down to the river in the old time way, and we'll stay in the service of the lord. *not sure but first one sounds like* (sons and daughters buried in the floor?) and the others are: comin up shoutin nobody doubtin fire burnin wheels turn I'm gonna Stay in the service.
  • I've been corrected... its sons in God

  • " sons and daughters dipped in the water"

and we'll stay in the service of the lord oooo

  • no its

    sons in god

    buried in the wood

    comin up (shout)

    nobody (shout)

    fire burns

    wheels turn

and we'll stay in the service of the lord oooo

  • Maybe those are the words that you'll sing but we sing it like Dr. Ray in the clip and the Words are

    Sons and (Daughters)

    Buried in the (Water)

    Coming Up (Shouting)

    Nobody (Doubting)

    Fire keep (Burning)

    Wheel keep (Turning)

and we'll stay in the service of the Lord!!

  • no its

    sons and daughters

    buried in the floor

    coming up- shouting

    nobody- doubting

    fire-burn

    wheels-turn

and we'll stay in the service of the lord oooo

i got the dvd to this concert and when i turned on the captions that what they were saying.

  • minman2002 was right with those words.

  • and its not buried in the water u cant be buried in water

  • Actually you can. It's referring to the baptism in water which is symbolic of death, burial and resurrection. We've been singing this song all my life and these are the words we use.

The verse is the progression of a beleiver called into the fold (sons and daughters) and then baptized (buried in the water) coming up out of the water shouting which is the fire that burns and the wheel refers to the prayer wheel!!! Because after the baptism services we would pray something serious.

  • Those words are right.

  • In the sonG I'M ON MY WAY IS A GREAT SONG. i ESPECIALLY ENJOR THE COIR DIRECTOR

  • They must of rearranged this because the words are wrong! Fire burning and wheel turning aren't even in there!

  • I was in the recording. I should know. Listen carefully.......It's in there.

  • I'm sure yu do but the original done by and written by Herbert Brewster doesn't say those words. The original is on my page and I should know!

  • OKAY...OKAY....These are the words to THIS version. That's all. I'm sure Mr. Herbert's version was meaningful and wonderful but Dottie made a slight upgrade. I didn't mean to push a button. God Bless!

  • I didn't mean any harm either. I'm sorry if I made it seemed that way, charge it to my mind please!

  • someting is wrong with scooby38128 needs to be pray for!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THANK U FINALLY I KNOW THE LYRICS

  • come rev and dottie haha

  • I didn't see one white person in the congregation. Too bad cause I'm an agnostic and I was moved by the obvious spirit in the music. Really grooving... and I don't like religion.

  • come on dottie

  • WHERE CAN IT BE PURCHASED. i WROTE THE ONLINE STORE FOR THAT CHURCH. IDON'T THINK GAVE ME THE RT INFO.

  • Rev. Ray is a very humble man of God.He blesses me when I hear him preach.

  • Dr. Ray is a dangerous man.

  • Dr. Ray looks like he held back some. I would have like to see him put it all out on the table. If the song had went on another 2 minutes he would have really turned out the venue.

  • Thank you Romeo

  • Sing Rev. Ray!
