BTM is an AWESOME place to learn to dive. While the water is cold, it's crystal clear, with visibility over 100 feet! Most divers who get certified in Missouri make their cert dives in lakes, and it SUCKS! You can hardly see your hand in front of you face in most lakes. Very disconcerting for a new diver just learning. The dive tour guides are pros, trained in safety, and they know the mine. You can't dive without a guide.
BTM is not a good place to learn to dive. The instuctors / and video they show prior to diving in the mine are old and out dated for diving in overhead enviroments. I dove there last week and we put t there instructors to shame. We do it DIR style.

There is one thuing wrong, there is not 17 miles of tunnels, it is 17 miles of underground shoreline. I just took a tour of there yester day and it was the most amazing thing i have ever seen!! I WAS DUMBFOUNDED!!!
Also, when did you shoot this movie? I was wondering because if it was a few weeks before you posted the movie, there's a good chance I could be one of the divers jumping off the dock near the end!

I haven't been BT Mine since I was a kid though that was just the walking tour. Great video.
