Oh, I guess you just like games where you play in a bland city with box buildings, terrible draw distance, useless collectibles, terrible side missions, all wrapped up in a nonsensical story. Not to mention Alex Mercer isn't even a character you can sympathize with since he murders thousands of people to get to his goal. Prototype sucked, and the sequel doesn't look that much better.

For fuck's sake, if inFamous and Prototype flip-flopped for console availability, your argument would change. Same thing with Heavy Rain -- the game is mediocre at best, get over it. Prototype is no masterpiece, but at least it warrants multiple playthroughs.

First of all, Prototype is a multiconsole. I have both inFamous and Prototype for PS3. inFamous is much, much better. Secondly, Heavy Rain is a great game. Extremely unique, yet little replay value. Prototype offers maybe 5 or 10 playthroughs. inFamous, however, offers about 50.

I own the PC version, I run it at max settings with 4X AA, Vsync and both settings on high. While the image is much clearer, the PS3 and X360 version have better lighting models (Better contrast, debris on the floor has shadows)

You are contradicting yourself, in Prototype you do all those types of missions and more, defend tanks so they can destroy buildings for you to help someone escape, chases through the city, defend doctor ragland, destroy detectors, sabotage detectors, use helicopter to hunt hunters in water towers, deceive missions etc Its an action game first and foremost so the missions revolve around action..
