I just made something similar from a mini speaker set (12W, 5" sub) and a 12V 4A/10hr motorcycle battery. It's quieter than when it's powered from an AC outlet. Would opting for a 8A/20hr battery make a difference? I know the bigger the batt. the longer it lasts, but 4A vs. 8A? Help please :)

I have an electric scooter that I bought from wal mart, schwinn, 15 mph 8 mile range, that I added a 28 v headlamp to, 24 v horn, plus rear blinkers.
